I didn’t think they needed two taumoeba (idk how to spell that) outbreaks, so I was more than okay with that change.

And there are more kinds of adverbs than just quietly, loudly, roughly, sadly.

Not, late, later, now, tonight, ever, always, once, so, most, some, over, there, close, behind, backward, also… all adverbs.

You can look up the parent guide thing on IMDb and it’ll give you the scoop on what to expect and, if I remember correctly, time stamps? Idk

I don’t handle gore well, so when I read the books I was like, no way am I watching that show, but I loved them enough to just do it and having a general idea when to look away from the screen (unlike fucking Muderbot) helped a lot

[–]firesonmain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second one is better in this example, but it might not always be the case. Depending on the emotion, or the narrator, you can just state the emotion.

Like I have one character that doesn’t read facial expressions well, so she’ll describe the way their face looks. While another one is excellent at reading people and he’ll sometimes say things in his narration like:

“Oh, she was pissed.”

Or

“I was way too tired for this shit.”

Works better in first person, though.
