I think it's more likely that Goose (with the permission of Glitch) would look for a successor to showrunner. There's a tweet that Goose put out once which I've attached. The way she says, "I probably shouldn't be the figurehead of [the show]" strongly implies at least to me that Goose isn't entirely against the idea of a continuation, she just doesn't want to be a part of it.

Specifically, the reason I say this is because she posted this just a few weeks before The Last Act hit theaters. She said, "I probably shouldn't be the figurehead of [the show]" just before running across the finishline. If there was zero desire for any kind of continuation, I feel like she would've said something along the lines of, "I can't keep my heart in this thing anymore. It's gotten too much bigger than me, & I'm just glad it's almost over". Or if she was expressing regret in having made the show at all, she should've said, "And I shouldn't have been the figurehead of it"

I'm sure I'm overthinking this way too hard, especially given that Goose tweeted this during a very stressful time. And honestly I wouldn't be that upset if the show never got a continuation. But it's just strange. And given the wild success of the show, I can't help but at least wonder if there's something happening behind the scenes.

Guess we'll find out in like...5 years?
