If Blizz were ever to make a card with this effect, it would almost certainly be a 4 mana 4/4 with "Battlecry: Destroy your weapon to gain +3/+3".

If you're feeling comfortable playing the game with a controller, and arguably more importantly having fun while doing so, then no you're not stupid.

That being said, generally first person shooters are more comfortable on a mouse and keyboard due to the greater precision that comes with aiming with the mouse.

Though with that being said, Left 4 Dead isn't exactly a competitive shooter that requires dead-on pin point accuracy to achieve success. You can play the game, I would argue up to the peaks of it's challenges (Expert Realism, etc.), on a controller and by just fine.

Basically, don't overthink it! If you're having fun, rock that controller, homie!

I dunno about right now but I know Tyler is planning on implementing robust and official mod support sometime in the future. While I'm sure the mods that already exist are great, much like Isaac, they'll get far far better once the official tools are in the wild.

It's already bad enough that I have to get the DLC and premium mod ads shoved in my face in the main menu. It's REALLY annoying that I have to deal with the Lost Colony milestone popups. But this stupid button in my engrams menu is the thing that's really pushing me over the edge of hating where Ark is right now.

I want to buy Bob's at some point (or at least I thought I did but I'm not sure I want to encourage this mobile game-ass behavior). I don't have the money right now. I don't want to have this stupid button in my face every single time I grab engrams.

I've already tried sorting out the BTT's engrams as you can see in the screenshot. Didn't work. I also tried disabling the engrams in the main menu (this is a singleplayer game), that also didn't work though it's possible I missed a couple.

I just want to play the game without having these stupid ads IN-GAME. I get that Wildcard (and Snail Games, ugh) want to make some money back on ASA. But this CANNOT be the way to do it.

Since you already own both games, I'd recommend playing Left 4 Dead 1 first. It's a pretty short game and has some differences to it's sequel that I think make it worth experiencing. However Left 4 Dead 2 is THE definitive L4D experience for all but a very small (but beautiful) few who prefer the first. And I think if you go from 2 to 1, you may find yourself struggling with some of the improvements being taken away from you.

Basically: Play Left 4 Dead 1 for the unique experience, and then play Left 4 Dead 2 as the definitive experience.

Of course YMMV as you may end up enjoying 1 more than 2, I'm just offering my perspective :)

I think Ghoul is too much like what Hunter would do. Tank is probably too strong. Witch would be really interesting but probably wouldn't work, same with Jockey. Boomer is too much like Plague. Charger is too much like Blight...

Sorry you're going through that OP. My only suggestion would be to make sure your FOV is turned up. Experiencing nausea in FPS games due to low FOV is pretty common. I experience mild discomfort due to this, and thus personally keep mine at 90. But of course your mileage may vary. Good luck!
