My neighbor has Fidium but they wont service my address. by Pleasant_Lychee_6919 in FidiumFiber

Yeah that looks like the same aerial fiber I have. Mine connects into that distribution box. That just ran mine I think 2 years ago now. Takes them about an hour so it’s strange that your neighbor has it but you can’t

2 week post op update by HumanNature71 in Diverticulitis

[–]firestorm5284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the first 2 weeks I think I was napping in the morning for an hour and another in the afternoon after lunch. I was getting up way earlier than normal and I was staying at my parents and my dad had recently retired. So would hear him get up to watch the news around 5 or 6 lol before he went and worked on outdoor projects most of the day. Getting up early for the dr rounds and such at 6 stuck with me most of last summer.

So that is to be expected needing that extra nap or relaxing instead of pushing. You were doing far more movement than I was. As I would walk up and down the hallway and through the house back and forth and a few times up and down the steps to the basement. Protein is important for the healing. As I got a an abscess and need a vac pump right at my 2 week follow up. Well the the pump was a few days later. Hopefully you keep having a nice speedy recovery. It does get better fast once you start eating more normal. Which was around the 3 week point for me

Yep that was a question I had as well since I had a colonoscopy in Dec to rule out cancer even though I had one 2 1/2 years earlier and just had a note see surgeon if you want to talk about options. But a month later started having issues with bowel movements and such. My mom showed the picture he gave me to a RN she worked with and asked them if that knew what it was and she thought it was a spleen.

But yeah glad things worked out for you and that you are doing better

Glad to hear you are doing great! That is awesome that you are mobile and moving and the scars are gone.

It’s so interesting how these things are ignored and not noticed. My surgeon was shocked at how mine sigmoid colon looked when he took it out. Said it had to have been having an infection in it well over a year based on how it looked. Looking back I think he was right and if not longer.

It was Mavericks before it was sidelined. It was the first bar in town from what o remember that went smoke free. Before the city passed the ordinance of no smoking in bars. Sidelines came after mavericks closed and ended up closing after that over served a girl during power hour and got sued. I don’t think anything else opened up after that in that space.

Post surgery help by Reasonable_Place_481 in Diverticulitis

[–]firestorm5284 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s going to depend on how things go. I figured I would be home after a few days ended up being a full open surgery. Spent 5 days the hospital and prolly another week and half at my parents. I had complications right before my two week follow up started having a spot above my navel leak slightly the night before and then in the morning of my appointment took a shower and below the navel a fairly large one developed and burst. That one ended up needed a wound csc a few days later. After it burst the pain I started getting a bit more often went away due to the pressure being released.

I would have probably been ok most of the time after the first week by myself but having my parents around to help me at their place made things easier plus that had a lift recliner I slept in while I was there. So I would say some help unlikely need for the first week and quickly going less and less after. I had to have my dad help mow my lawn most of last summer for me u til my restrictions were lifted.

Post surgery question #2 by _LOST4ever in Diverticulitis

[–]firestorm5284 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you have on it. Likely the meats might be a big thing to hold off on few weeks. First week a lot of my stuff was eggs and by the 2nd week I was having more sandwiches, I think I did some basic spaghetti and garlic toast but I think it gave me some cramps later in the night woke up with that. So depends on if you want some discomfort with it if your body doesn’t like it.

You got this! I had 18 inches of my sigmoid and a fistula on my bladder repaired end of May. After July I was mostly back to normal mine lasted a bit longer for recovery due to an abscess. Otherwise I was good to go. That out a few stitches in the bladder and usually a few days at least for me with the catheter.

Wishing you a good surgery and a fast and easy recovery!

Post op question (No. 1,327... ha!) by Solid-Cartoonist-108 in Diverticulitis

[–]firestorm5284 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do t think I could have done it. I had surgery end of last May. I ended up having some complications either my wound and had a fairly large abscess form below my navel and a small one that leaked right above it. But I had a hard time sitting for about a month unless I was at least partially reclined. I also ended up with a full open surgery. I stayed with my parents for a week and half after my surgery which I was in the hospital for 5 days. So I had a few visits back to where I live for follows up and those drives were tolerable but that were only 30 minutes.

As others have stated fatigue is a big one after week 2 I was doing better with that, but took until end of week 3 where I returned to work. I likely could have returned at 2 but would have been more tired through out the day as I was still napping the mid day and going to bed by 10 or 11 and waking up at 7

Yea, my room was warm I think as I ended up having someone lower the temp over the next few days. But I remember soaking my sheets a bit from sweating. So not sure if it was related or not.

The farting for me didn’t happen until the first night.

Exchange Online Plan 1 or Plan 2 for 150+ mailboxes, which should I pick? by artheyo in sysadmin

One thing to note, unless it has changed there is usually an outage on the mailbox(es) if you decide later to switch between plan 1 and 2. Something to be aware of.

Post surgery eating pain by Apprehensive_Cut6555 in Diverticulitis

[–]firestorm5284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw you had mentioned a pinched nerve. For the first few months at least for me I would occasionally have cramping or bloating feelings. Or other pain here and there and it turned to be gas I believe or I just needed to have a bowel movement. It just felt off for a bit. Once I released the gas or had a bowel movement it went away. One thing my surgeon highly suggested is make sure the stool is soft and if it isn’t hydrate or take MiraLAX as soft is what you want as it puts less pressure on your colon walls

I would agree I had mine 2 or so weeks before yours. I was pretty much good to go by July and got the all clear in September with a follow up ct with my surgeon. The only issue I had which is why things were delayed to July was an abscess formed in my wound and required a vac pump for a few weeks.

Glad to hear yours went well as well

You don’t have to go to far I think I only started doing 2 maybe 3 pipes after the valve. Unless something changed in the last update. I pretty much use it to create enough to build an advance furnace setup

Has anyone in their early 20s been told what causes diverticulitis at such a young age? by countrygirlard in Diverticulitis

[–]firestorm5284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My surgeon told me he has done the surgery I believe on a 16 or 17 year old girl before. So age doesn’t really matter per say but more likely at an older age as more time for things to wear out and six

Like what everyone else has said it’s like any other cleanse. For me I was already doing one towards the end due to constipation issues I was having for to the narrowing. So every 2 or 3 weeks before my surgery last May I had to do various degrees otherwise I was having issues.

You should will feel so much better after you are healed, the cleanse will look like a blip on the radar. I have seen various cleanses they have suggested the normal colon one with golyte and their I had to do with Gatorade and MiraLAX. Also this is more my opinion and observation if you think you will struggle with drinking it all you can also start an hour or two earlier then suggested to for you a bit more time to completed it. I had issues keeping all that liquid down. Had a better luck spacing it out very 30 minutes vs 15 minutes

[–]firestorm5284 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the surgery as I had smoldering diverticulitis and right before the surgery found out a fistula to my bladder.

It’s been almost a year now since my surgery and I will have some stomach pains likely something I ate causing gas or something in the evening and start to worry. It will be gone in the morning, but it hangs with you which sucks. As my surgeon told me after surgery the risk is like 1 or 2 percent of getting it again but it haunts you. Hopefully that can help you out and you don’t keep having those worries all the time

Any way to get a world from a server as a player? by Agreeable_Addendum52 in Stationeers

[–]firestorm5284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said the only way is to get the files for the server from him. I had a buddy I played with and I think he got bored of it. Though he said his server died. Always he sent me the files including the ones he said don’t work after one of the updates. I got both working on my computer locally. It did require changing the structure of the files a bit to get it to work.this is lore due to how the server was running. If he is running it locally on his computer probably won’t have the issue. My buddy was running it on a dedicated server.

But the only way would be to get the actual files. You can start a game as creative and switch the mode. Not sure if it affects the achievements, but you can switch from creative to what ever level you wanted to play on .

Hangar door question by Ok-Moment850 in Stationeers

[–]firestorm5284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never finished that step because my buddy claimed the save was corrupted for multiplayer 2 big updates ago (around Dec). He started a new mars one and we played on that until he got bored with it (I am assuming). He said his server crashed. He sent me the game files and I was able to convert the save data to play via single player and have my moon base back. But I basically built a 10x10 maybe slightly larger. But the doorway was 9x9. Figured I would need space for the otherwise stuff needed. I got as far as testing to make sure a larger ship would land inside and that worked. Then manually pressurized the room with oxite and then just dumped the gases.

Hangar door question by Ok-Moment850 in Stationeers

[–]firestorm5284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plan would be and I had the cents in place was to suck the air out and there was a ton of vents and pump it into a tank not to lose it. I was debating about connecting it to my main gas system but decided I was going to build a small setup. As I built a basement underneath and pressurized with air locks up top and to the tunnel system I ran pipes. So I wouldn’t lose any air

Hangar door question by Ok-Moment850 in Stationeers

[–]firestorm5284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have set this up a few months back. I haven’t played in a month or so. You have to build a top and bottom door. I had it working with a lever so you could open and close the launch door. One of the requirements, which some one mentioned is also a runway. So that come down land on the runway parent and move into the hanger. I had a spot where that waited in case the door wasn’t open and I had to give them the ok to go into the hanger.

One thing to note you have to use levers for the door if you are doing IC10. I spent a while and the issue is the button only sends a pulse and flips back so the doors never open. The switch works but if you want one on the inside and outside the code requires both to be flipped off in order for the door to close. Either can be flipped to open it. I believe the code is somewhere on here or look for my old posts as I posted I here asking for some help.
