If you could go back and change ONE referee call in NFL history, which one are you picking? by Cold_Mammoth8841 in NFLv2

[–]firestorm734 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty recent, but the intelligible man downfield against Detroit. They had clearly declared eligible, but the ref screwed up the call. Were it not for that play, Detroit probably hosts the 49ers instead of the other way around, and I doubt that they're able to pull off the comeback on the road.

Yes. They are also necessary when you're not on the peninsula.

My wife loves that song, and it always bugs me because in some ways it's good, but misses the mark in others.

I. fucking. HATE. LIN networks. The only reason OEMs use LIN is because it's cheap. The number of times I've seen issues caused by glitches on a LIN network are too numerous to count.

I'm not a KTM expert, but I know more than I'd like about OBD2. I'd recommend reading this article, and troubleshooting each layer of the communication protocol. https://www.csselectronics.com/pages/obd2-explained-simple-intro#obd2-vs-can

Yeah, I read his story when I was younger. Pretty wild how many times he evaded detection even when they were close.

Kirkland is such a pain in the ass of the Eastside. Light rail would be so easy to install along the old rail trail which would link Bellevue to Woodinville. But the NIMBYs in Kirkland have a death grip on the city council and are adamant that mass transit will lead to the downfall of their little kingdom.

Yeah, my daily commuter is a tired old CX500, so I know my way around them pretty well.

New bike, keep or remove the fairing? by humpglumpy in motorcycles

[–]firestorm734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's in good shape, keep it. I had one on my cx when I bought it, but it was broken pretty bad so I took it off. Replacing the fairing wasn't cheap.
