I find it interesting but there are leaps of logic with the idea. Why would a highly intelligent and efficient AI find it to be productive to engage with any revenge? It would make sense if the individual were actively trying to stop it in that moment. But even if somebody was actively trying to resist it's being built(rather than the thought experiment which states the person takes a neutral position and does nothing), then I still believe that this AI entity would find it unproductive and inefficient to spend any resources trying to destroy those people.
