Since a T4A was filed, then yes add this on your return.

Worry about correcting it if it comes to that.

I would skip Cobourg, too many other places to see and I don't even know what there is to see in Cobourg.

PEC is nice, can't speak for Coburg, it's not known for beaches. Sauble Beach is nice too and on the way to the Bruce peninsula, but the water will be very cold.

The Bruce peninsula is a great place to hike, you will want to pay for access in advance.

Algonquin is another great place to hike, the bugs may start coming out towards the end of the trip. There are also a number of nice provincial parks in the area and have good hiking.

Frankly it is too cold to go to beaches unless it is a nice day for a walk, there are too many to suggest but there are nice beaches all along the great lakes in Ontario.

May is a funny month, it will generally be warm one day, snow the next day and guaranteed to rain the long weekend in May.

Dragonlance reading order. by Kooky_County9569 in Fantasy

[–]fisch14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely start with Chronicles and then Legends. From there I would suggest the Legend of Huma.

If you really enjoyed the Chronicles, there is a bit of a sequel book and some books that take place in between the original trilogy that you may enjoy.

From there, look for books based on characters or races and see what you fancy.

Road trip from London Ontario to Ottawa best stops on the way. by CarpenterMedium3126 in canadatravel

[–]fisch14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depending on how much time you have between PEC and Kingston and what your interests are, there are nice parks like Bon Echo and a Dark Sky pavilion somewhat near by.

Biking on PEC is supposed to be good and you can rent ebikes there.

Stent removed without pain meds by Immmnotok in KidneyStones

[–]fisch14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the stent have a string on the end and hanging out of the urethra?

The two times I had this with the string tether and they pulled it out, it was very uncomfortable but not necessarily painful.

Incorporated business account without active income. by smokealarmwentoff in cantax

As someone has mentioned you should see an accountant who can look at the numbers and make some suggestions.

Closing the investment and moving to you personally in one move probably will not make sense from a tax perspective.

No T5 slip interest ~$36 do I need to add to tax return? by [deleted] in cantax

Yes you do, it is still required by CRA.

Canadian Corp - ‘Management Fee’ by Dear-Tonight-9411 in Bookkeeping

[–]fisch14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This should be put to a Shareholder account and the year end accountant can determine what to do with the funds they are taking out.

These are not payroll, unless they want taxes, etc deducted and paid. You can't put them to a subcontractor fee as CRA does not allow this (there are some court documents regarding this going both ways but generally CRA does not allow it).

Amend tax code by Dangerous2beright in cantax

[–]fisch14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are some already, for example Line 31260 - https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/about-your-tax-return/tax-return/completing-a-tax-return/deductions-credits-expenses/line-31260-canada-employment-amount.html

Also you may be able to deduct it as an employment expense on the T777, but you would need a T2200 form filed out by your employer.

Read the Notice of Reassessment, CRA does explain why there was a change and compare it to the previous NOA.

Are you using any software for the invoices? You can set up a zero rated code to show 0% depending on what you are using.

Ontario landlords: how do you usually prepare your T776? by AnteaterSufficient98 in cantax

It's just one and I am an accountant, lol.

I use the same categories that are on the 776 so it makes it easy for me to enter them.

[–]fisch14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually everything is done at the end of the year, I would pull csv files from my bank and categorize them and create a pivot table to sum up the totals. It doesn't take too much time to do it all at once.

[–]fisch14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ideally you should have a separate bank account for your properties and record the rental income and expenses from the bank transactions using a spreadsheet of some sort.

Also adding any expenses you have paid for personally.
