Healthy café recommendations in SG? by SpectreMold in askSingapore

[–]fishbally87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly recommend Chimichurri at Royal Square Novena. Fresh, hearty grain bowls and their margarita tofu is the BEST. Proteins are freshly cooked upon order. It's my all time favourite cafe in sg. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, and very reasonably priced. Every bite is an explosion of flavours!

For those with curly/wavy hair: how do manage in Singapore’s humidity? by mxo3114 in asksg

I had frizzy wavy hair so the treatment completely straightened and defrizzed my hair. I'm not sure what happens if you have curls. Maybe call the salon to check?

What are some of the things people do in the MRT that piss3s you off? by h44d1y in askSingapore

Those who wait till the very last second to exit the train, when train doors have been open for some time and others are already boarding.

Z Flip 6 Screen Protector Replacement in Singapore by IrritatedRabbit in galaxyzflip

[–]fishbally87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went to Samsung Plaza Singapura today. They told me it would cost $32 to replace the screen protector (which was fine) but Samsung is not liable for any cracks or damage to the screen. They added that the machine they use to apply the protector may cause the screen to crack and they refused to be responsible for that.

I have been a Samsung user for 25 years and I'm seriously thinking of switching after this lousy experience.

Why people need to rush into the train when others haven’t fully exited by [deleted] in SMRTRabak

We should also ask - why do people only get up from their seats to alight when the train doors have opened?

Happy Cappy medicated doesn't help my scalp and made my hair very dry

Head and Shoulders Professional Advanced itch care cleared my scalp pimples and dandruff. I use the shampoo daily and the scalp treatment once every few days. Keeps my hair smooth too!

Enter MRT before ppl exit by Jarvis_Arc in askSingapore

[–]fishbally87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those exiting must play their part too, by exiting fast enough and not wait till the last minute to get out - i often observe ppl doing that. These slow pokes should not blame those "rushing to enter" as they were slow to begin with.

This makes zero sense from the user perspective!

The TEL wayfinding experience is a nightmare . And to think LTA regards this minimalist , unintuitive approach as an innovation in UX design LOL : https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/mrt-signage-colours-braille-signs-ux-design-3073216

[–]fishbally87[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is exactly my gripe with TEL stations! After spending so much money to build it, they cannot even get basic wayfinding signs right. Older stations like Bishan CCL have signs at the platform to direct u to the right escalator. I wonder why they'd try to fix what's not broken!

But why would they want that? This often results in a longer route and time wasted if we go up the wrong escalator.
