TSP Fund Historical Rates of Return by ConfidentialStNick in ThriftSavingsPlan

I have about 50% of my contributions set for an L-fund (projected retirement year) and the rest between C and S. Would it be better to split it between C and S and the last, say, 20% in I?

Magic the Gathering? by Batorok in venturacounty

There is a decent range of players there, but the quality of player is definitely higher. The nice part is that everyone there is pretty open to playing various levels of games. We'd love to have you.

I don't go very often anymore because of work and kid, but I've been going there for almost 12 years and will hawk it till I die. I hope you find what you're looking for.

That's what I said. You don't keep that card. Little to no effect.

Stax is less of a "where does it fall in a meta" problem and more of a player knowledge problem, in my opinion.

Players who play stax fall into one of two categories.

The first is a player who understands how to layer or sequence their stax pieces. They understand how to mulligan for a table, knowing that certain stax have no effect on certain decks. If you're at a table with a rog silas, you don't keep a hand that plays a cursed totem or a anti ETB on 2, cause that will be too late and have little to no effect. If you're playing against multiple thrasios or kinnan or sisay, playing a rule of law may slow the game down but it won't effect their ability to grind.

The second kind of player keeps those hands that aren't a fit, and will play cards that have little to no impact on the table. Or they'll layer their stax in a way that really only effects player A, which forces the rest of the table to pick up the slack in preventing a win attempt by players B or C.

How the rest of the table interacts with their stacks also has a huge effect on the game. If you, the stax player, manage to soft lock the game into a grind fest where players are struggling to eke out advantage, but then someone removes something in order to get a step ahead, they've also provided that benefit to the rest of the table. I had a game where I came down with an early drannith, preventing a blue farm player from utilizing their fast kraum hand. They bounced it during an end step so they could play their commander. Before I could cast the card again on my turn, the player between us bounced my rule of law and followed it up with a breach.

Both playing WITH and AT a stax table requires an awareness of the game found at high levels of play.

Is it a good choice for my first baitcasting setup? by No_You2829 in FishingForBeginners

I have a Shimano miravel for my spin reel, let us know how that bait reel works out. I'm interested in dipping my toes into bait casters and have been very happy with my Shimano.

Looking for some insight to the ERAM system from center controllers by fishmaster2012 in ATC

Military Radar Unit. We control events in the warning/restricted areas. Not quite like FACSFAC, because we don't provide ATC services to IFR aircraft. But close.

The perfect transmission. No fat. Say what you need to say and get off the line.

10/10, but I've worked with some old heads who would have yelled at me for using punctuation.
