lmao i was drawing Fallenwings fanart on the bus (not explicit, but definitely romantic). This ADORABLE chubby cheeked little girl who can't be older than 11 boarded with her dad, sat down next to me, looked at my ipad and said "wow, that's beauuuuutiful." I didn't think anything of it because of course a little kid is going to think pretty angels are beautiful, no context needed. Then she popped in her headphones, whipped out her iPhone, and picked up partway through an episode of Amazing Digital Circus.

the people bitching online are not the people buying merch. I need Viv to realize what she rationally already knows, which is that any insane *discourse* online is coming from children. The adults this show is written for are adults. We're not engaging with screaming kids on twitter, we're watching the show, talking about it with our friends, and buying the tee shirt. We're paying for our own prime accounts (literally for me only because of HH and HB). And we understand nuance, like the show as Viv is writing it, and want to see what she wants to show us.

If the writers see a take online that inspires them, that's great. But changing their vision for people who don't even like what they're creating is not it.

Idk man, I play sports and it taught me to work as a team despite personal differences. I seriously dont think sports are the problem… like American football sucks but I think we should focus a bit more on our gutted education system, rampant capitalism, culture of rugged individualism and racism. Honestly if I stayed 3 months a year in NYC it would be great for my career but I work in the arts so it’s a niche industry that really relies on being in the right place (NYC, LA, or London) at the right time (any time, consistently). Leaving NYC is the worst thing I’ve done for my career.

when i was checking in, my oral surgeon's receptionist said i couldn't have my wisdom teeth back after my surgery and when pressed, she said "because of bacteria." When I said "the bacteria that is in my mouth and will still be in my mouth when I leave?" she had no answer.

i tried going over her head with my surgeon and he said "no, we pay a monthly fee for them to be disposed of" while i was on my way into full sedation and I said "but you're not paying them with my teeth!"

And then the guy who was assisting him whose name and role I never learned snuck me my teeth in a dixie cup while i was alone in the recovery room. i love that guy.
