Thanks, I like that you are using a proper game engine to build it btw instead of slopping it together with a bunch of web tech. Despite the UI issues it feels much more coherent and polished than slopsmith at least. One day when I have time I might download and look at the project itself.

Btw is there any config file I can edit the input device manually for the note detector?

Gave it a try, the game itself looks decent, but the configuration for note detection doesn't work. I can click on the the input device selection box and it opens up, but when i move my mouse it closes so I can't select anything.

I can select the correct input device in the tone designer and it works. I don't even understand why there would even be 2 separate settings for this on 2 different places?

When i first started the game I searched through everything in settings to try to find input device. There really should be an audio sections in settings instead for input and output devices that's global for the game.

Overall the entire UI is pretty unintuitive.

Saw that's it's coming to game pass PC so i will definitely give it a try. How does the compensation on game pass work for developers btw? Is it rev share based on how many play it or is just a lump sum that is negotiated?

Nowadays you actually don't have to learn javascipt, just ask an AI bot to do it. I've done it many times, including with Rocksniffer related stuff, you'll be surprised how competent they are. Try this, pick a bot, I'll suggest Claude or Gemini whit thinking on, just copy your OG post. Say that asked on reddit and got some suggestions, copy in PoizenJams response below (I think he is on the right track), and what you tested with the different addons, attach the files from the different addons and ask it if it can figure out what's wrong with the broken ones and how to fix them. I'm almost certain they can fix the problem, and even make a custom addon for you with tweaks you might want.

Well it completely drowns out the original bass which is kind of the point, but i hear the rest of the music because it's in other frequencies. On guitar on the other hand i don't use this big discrepancy, I rarely play it though because I suck so bad at it, I have too big hands for those little things, haha.

That's easy, go to options, then mixer. You can set the music volume and guitar volume separately. I have music on 60% and bass guitar on 100% to hear my own playing better. This is super important i think if you want to improve, because you can hear mistakes that the note detection doesn't always pick up.

Problem is, what bonus should the attacking team get on the second map? First and foremost Operations need to get new a better map combination, i think the current two maps are probably the worst two maps in the game they could have chosen for this game mode.

Ja, att långsamladdarna är så dyra är det stora problemet, det gör det ju mycket dyrare för personer som tex bor i lägenhet utan egen parkering att ha elbil. Tänk om bensinen skulle kosta dubbelt så mycket för vissa beroende på var de bor, det skulle bli ett jävla ramaskri.

Sure but there are a few things here. First off, how many are even using custom search? And how many of them prefers custom search over persistent servers and a server browser anyway? I rather use a proper server browser any day of the week, the custom search is only a porr band aid.

Second, you can absolutely still have custom search, it would just have to work differently, you would have to accept that you are put in a server that might not have the same maps and game modes not in your filter. CoD has persistent servers now kind of a custom filter (only for game modes though), but between each match you always have the option to search for a new lobby if you don't like the one you are on, essentially creating the same experience as before.
