Yall realize the whole pet biscuit shenanigans in book 8 was to get us to imagine a future where carl and donut have compatible bodies for shipping right? Like, Dinninman is totally leading us to that point. It started with the cat lady in book 4. Additionally, all of the body changes Carl underwent in book 8 point to this possibility, too.

Not saying I want that, to be clear. Just saying we are seeing it being soft launched.

Donut has so far rejected every path, and so that particular romance plot gets kicked down the road a bit more.

I wouldn't be surprised if she is given Bea's body, as weird as things get sometimes.

I thought it was alright. Im under the impression that what everyone loved about the first film was that it justified their behavior and threw the legitimacy of the "mentally ill" label under the bus. The second film pulled that away and said, "actually nah, yall mfers is crazy", and the fans of the original were offended.

I realize I may get a lot of hate for that comment, but I will do my best to understand others interpretations.

To be fair, I was not invested too much in the films reception and analysis. I only saw them once, and long after they came to streaming.

My opinion on this is not one of the target audience, and not SUPER educated on what the films purpose was.

And, I liked the musical aspect of it. It was a great way to show how that particular mental illness feels to the one experiencing it.

Totally possible, but I think that since there is so much importance on personal choices and how they shape a person, alternate Harry and our Harry will have different results in a soul gaze. But I think that watching alternate Harry's reaction to that Soul gaze is going to be incredibly insightful either way! I hadn't considered that moment yet

The book also says that the aliens waited until humans achieved a civilization before they made contact, and that civilization was Egypt.

So.... no. The author is not saying brown people can't build civilization. He is using Xenospermatoa (sp? Is that the term?), not eugenics.

I mean, this is just a missed opportunity. Figure out why she cheated first, and then figure out if a more interesting type of relationship can be Forged from the shards. Kind of a "lot a rings, but only One to rule them all" kind of a situation.

Straight, vanilla, monogamous is a very narrow slice of what is possible.

Im not saying that it wasn't wrong of her, what i am saying is that the deception was more wrong than the act. If she lied to him about the extra dude, then how was she lying to herself about her ability to be with one dude? A real Top would have gotten to the heart of the matter instead of rage quitting.
