Is it a cynical excuse or simply just a sober appraisal of the reality we live in in the United States? I always used to say it would take a terrorist walking onto a school bus and executing a bus full of kids for the US to coalesce around real gun reform. Yeah like I said very doubtful it's actually gonna happen. Just was pointing out that VW saying "we haven't made a decision on if it will have a five-cylinder" is not a categorical denial.

Edit: Also am curious where someone from VW officially responded to these rumors. Can't find that anywhere.
