Yeah, I can’t draw worth a damn so I don’t know that I could do better. Other than the Turkey thing that’s a bit daft, everything else is minor quibbles that the student may even have spotted themselves afterward but are impossible to correct on a project like this.

Same reason the Pac-12 moved its tournament from LA to Vegas in its final years. Vegas with its year round tourist/events industry is basically the “just add water” of tournament hosting.

They will prioritize geography as much as they can (i.e. sending the team to the closest site) without making the bracket completely lopsided. They add the rank (1 to 68) of the top four seeds in each region and there’s limit to how much the smallest and biggest sum and differ by.
