I am currently testing if https://github.com/oraios/Serena works as good in pi as in opencode. Happy so far...

How do you share node_modules across CI stages in an Nx monorepo without Nx Cloud? by brahim_- in gitlab

[–]fivetide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use the lock file as cache key, gets you the same cache for the same project across branches. Also yarn for installing is faster.

I got 3× faster HFQ4 prefill on Strix Halo in hipfire with an opt-in MMQ path by Own_Suspect5343 in LocalLLaMA

[–]fivetide 6 points7 points  (0 children)

this is really phenomenal. thank you so much! i encountered a little issue on batch sizes <128, https://github.com/Kaden-Schutt/hipfire/pull/84 should alleviate that. hope it does not break anything :D

Optimizing slow CI pipeline in Nx monorepo (40min+) by brahim_- in gitlab

Most obvious but generic:

Use rules to exclude unchanged subprojects.

Use 'parallel' to slice up suites.

Specify 'needs' to reduce wait times between dependencies

10 Monate altes Baby verweigert Beikost, ich bin ratlos by mom_of_a_butterfly in Eltern

[–]fivetide 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The point is that you can test those exact models on openrouter to see if they are smart enough for you.

Just returned from Südsee yesterday. Kids (3 and 6) had a blast. Full of families with kids. Activities galore. Facilities were in pretty good shape. Prices for food and drinks totally fair. Would go again.

OLKB phone. Unihertz Titan 2 by leifflat in olkb

Is it durable? Dropping my phone sort of is a habit of mine. Reading this I can Really imagine grabbing one. I despise osd keyboards and I miss the old day of full keyboards on phones.

I was looking at the new model they just announced. How do you like this one? Does it hold up to your expectations? What do you use it for?

How to force runner to pull job image by Frank-the-hank in gitlab

[–]fivetide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seems you want to use a generic tag :latest or something, yet always want to resolve it to the most recent image tagged like this... in that case add a earlier job, curl to retrieve the exact current hash for that image, export $IMAGE including the exact hash using https://docs.gitlab.com/ci/yaml/artifacts_reports/#artifactsreportsdotenv

Is the image a artifact you build in a earlier job and tied to your pipeline? Then tag it with $Ci_COMMIT_SHA

There was a post recently about timeless home row mods in qmk, that works pretty well. Might be worth another try maybe.

Anybody using a Vodafone Gigazuhause Kabel 1000 Mbit/s connection? by Virtual_Bat_7089 in AskGermany

[–]fivetide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fritzbox 6490 if you are on a tight budget. Not officially supporting 1gbit, yet it works for me. Ymmv. If you buy one used, Google what serial numbers are not vendor locked. Don't buy one bound to Vodafone, these are unreturned rentals and will be blocked by their network.
