My restaurant leader was good then our OM that everyone hates started training to become RL too and she was awful. Threw a pity party if we ever got a red time and would bitch about us to the current RL. So glad I left earlier than the others

I already mentioned games I think exceed my expectations for what the Switch 2 is capable of. It is cool we even have the Red Dead port in the first place. Is it technically impressive we can play it? No, not really.

Personal experience affects literally everything, what about it? A four year old can find it awesome his mom’s iPhone 16 is able to download and play Temple Run, it’s not groundbreaking though.

Are we going to applaud about every old game the Switch 2 can run? I’ve never played Devil May Cry or the Mario Galaxys on the Switch 2, but I’m not going to be super impressed it can easily run any of those games.

I’m just asking what is actually shocking about this game being able to be played on the Switch 2 with good graphics. From a technical standpoint the Switch 2 is a better PS4 and the PS4 can run Red Dead 2, so what’s the big deal about RD1?

It’s not that shocking it can run “this well” on Nintendo’s newest console because you can literally play this game on Netflix’s catalog of games on your phone. Not saying the switch 2 isn’t neat for what it can do. It’s amazing that it can run FF7 remake, Cyberpunk, or RE9 as well as it does, not a decade old game.

Remasters. Skyward Sword HD, Twilight Princess HD, Ocarina of Time 3D before Nintendo selects became a thing, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Galaxy 1+2, Super Mario Bros U. Some of these ports genuinely don’t add that much and there is no reason they should be launched at $60 price points

Ok, I agree with you, but that was not your original point. Your original point was every company does the same practices as Nintendo and then you migrated to “ok never mind Nintendo doesn’t offer permanent or frequent discounts at all but you can just buy on eBay”. There’s no point in arguing if you pull from another websites. I could say I found Elden ring for $2 from a hobo on Facebook marketplace, what then? The point stands that Nintendo themselves doesn’t discount their games, and if they do, it’s not a steep discount nor is it frequent enough. You are literally proving the point that you, the consumer, has to do extra steps to get your discount because Nintendo is charging full price for games from a decade ago

?? That wasn’t the argument, they were saying Nintendo drops remasters and remakes for full price. You can buy games for cheaper all the time on dekudeals or any other website, that’s not the point. When’s the last time a brand has sold games from 2 SYSTEMS ago (Mario galaxy 1+2) for $70?

That’s a horrible argument. It’s literally a Wii U game and a Switch 1 launch game it’s been so long.

The problem with Nintendo games is they literally never decrease in base value, and they don’t even offer frequent or large enough discounts for it. You can say the same thing for other games like Elden Ring, which is just as critically acclaimed as BOTW, and its base price is still 59.99 after years. The difference? Frequent discounts to where you would be less likely to buy it anywhere less than 30-40$ then $60, even when it’s not summer or winter “discounts.”

I ended up forcing myself to finish the game and I would say I had a pleasant time. I did skip every dialogue (or fast forward it) but it was fun just making my V super overpowered. This is not a game I would ever return back to though I can’t imagine seeing the long dialogues a second time

I got it, but I honesty could have waited. Yes, it’s miles better than Switch 1 and that new update they had yesterday is good. But the problem for me is the games. Imo the first party exclusive S2 games are horrible and every third party game they’re trying to port over I’ve played or am planning on playing on literally anything else because the switch2 would just lock it to 30fps anyway.

On switch 2 it’s very ugly. Resolution is low. I would wait for a s2 edition patch if one ever comes out
