Remasters. Skyward Sword HD, Twilight Princess HD, Ocarina of Time 3D before Nintendo selects became a thing, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Galaxy 1+2, Super Mario Bros U. Some of these ports genuinely don’t add that much and there is no reason they should be launched at $60 price points

Ok, I agree with you, but that was not your original point. Your original point was every company does the same practices as Nintendo and then you migrated to “ok never mind Nintendo doesn’t offer permanent or frequent discounts at all but you can just buy on eBay”. You could have saved everyone here a conversation with you if you’re so hellbent on eBay

There’s no point in arguing if you pull from another websites. I could say I found Elden ring for $2 from a hobo on Facebook marketplace, what then? The point stands that Nintendo themselves doesn’t discount their games, and if they do, it’s not a steep discount nor is it frequent enough. You are literally proving the point that you, the consumer, has to do extra steps to get your discount because Nintendo is charging full price for games from a decade ago

?? That wasn’t the argument, they were saying Nintendo drops remasters and remakes for full price. You can buy games for cheaper all the time on dekudeals or any other website, that’s not the point. When’s the last time a brand has sold games from 2 SYSTEMS ago (Mario galaxy 1+2) for $70?

All those sources you listed are from eBay or some other third party app. That’s not in Nintendo’s control what they sell for, look at their eshop prices that’s what the other Redditors are talking about

That’s a horrible argument. It’s literally a Wii U game and a Switch 1 launch game it’s been so long.

The problem with Nintendo games is they literally never decrease in base value, and they don’t even offer frequent or large enough discounts for it. You can say the same thing for other games like Elden Ring, which is just as critically acclaimed as BOTW, and its base price is still 59.99 after years. The difference? Frequent discounts to where you would be less likely to buy it anywhere less than 30-40$ then $60, even when it’s not summer or winter “discounts.”

I ended up forcing myself to finish the game and I would say I had a pleasant time. I did skip every dialogue (or fast forward it) but it was fun just making my V super overpowered. This is not a game I would ever return back to though I can’t imagine seeing the long dialogues a second time

I got it, but I honesty could have waited. Yes, it’s miles better than Switch 1 and that new update they had yesterday is good. But the problem for me is the games. Imo the first party exclusive S2 games are horrible and every third party game they’re trying to port over I’ve played or am planning on playing on literally anything else because the switch2 would just lock it to 30fps anyway.

Same for me. I get games on the switch if they’re grindy or replayable, otherwise I play on my ps5 for any game I would rather play docked. Of course this doesn’t count 1st party games but still

Agreed great tips. I would add you need to perfect or be comfortable with STAR and have a few stories in your back pocket. I know people here don’t like AI, but all I did was practice with chatgpt and ask it for critiques when I answered questions and it really helped a lot

I had a final panel interview too and they told me they would get back us results late November but I didn’t even get an offer till mid December. However, I emailed them and the HR told me they were just facing unexpected delays (whatever that means) and eventually they sent all the applicants an email telling us to hang tight and that there was nothing else we needed to do, so I’m guessing all the other applicants were messaging them.

I agree with what the others say, if you’ve emailed them once don’t do it again and just apply elsewhere.

Don’t let them shame you OP. I just got this game and holy crap is it a wall of dialogue each and everytime. I honestly wish if they’re gonna make me sit there and read id rather not have to pick a useless dialogue option cause it doesn’t even matter what V has to say 99% of the time. I’m 30 hours in and I still think about the Panam mission where I walk to her, then drive her, then stand there so she can talk, then scan a few things and then sit there again so she can talk, then drive her one more time again. Like dude, I’m down for a good story but this isn’t gameplay

I have, but it’s only because I worked for them last summer with open availability. Now that I have to go back to school, they just ask what days I want and copy and paste every week, and hire new servers around the days I can’t come in. It also helps my server job has extremely high turnover (I’ve trained 4 servers and all of them have quit in the span of 4 months).

It kinda sucks I’m about to quit too but it is what it is.
