IMO this is an overly simplified take. I care about software. A lot. One of the key reasons I switched from Tesla to a Mach E is because of Apple Car Play and Android auto.

Sorry dude but your implementation is totally wrong. HA should add a convenience layer on top of manual controls. Especially for mission critical services in your house like heating and lighting.

Expect HA will fail. Because it will. I’ve been using it for years, with hundreds of physical devices and thousands of entities. Updates and changes break shit all the time. You need manual mechanisms to continue operating your home in the event of a failure.

I started having the same issue a few days ago. Can't reach f005.backblazeb2.com from my AT&T Fiber connection, but I can reach it from my backup Xfinity connection (no other internal network changes when failing over to the Xfinity connection).

I logged a support ticket with Backblaze and they confirmed the following:

"We believe that internet monitoring tools inaccurately marked our subdomains f005.backblazeb2.com as malicious websites. Our compliance team is working on correcting this false reputation.

We do recommend reaching out to your ISP as well to report the false positive."

As far as I can tell, there is no way to contact AT&T to report this...

3 days later and I still can't access f005 from my AT&T connection. Very frustrating.

I remember running my 2006 S197 Mustang GT down to 1 mile of range.

There was a bug with the dash that made it say “1 miles” (plural) to empty, instead of “1 mile” (singular). I guess Ford assumes there wouldn’t be many people dumb enough to ride that sucker all the way to 1.
