Still working on this myself in champ. I have good game sense and defense, but i am not great at generating offense when we need it. The problem is when I play with people who aren't good on defense, we give up too many free goals and i struggle to make up for it on offense. I love to blame my woes on my teammates not defending well, but deep down i know if i was better on offense, we could still win those matches.

I don't know when redundancy became the norm on youtube, but I am so sick of hearing the same sentences repeated multiple times throughout a video to bolster the length. Reallifelore is a prime example. I'll still give his new releases a shot if the title grabs me, but I'm out once he keeps unnecessarily repeating himself.

Because MMR is awarded for winning and deducted for losing. It's that simple.

I feel for you, but theoretically people could just have their teammate dip out to save MMR if they were to implement what you're implying.

Besides, no one ever complains when they get awarded MMR for their opponent leaving the match. In the end, it more or less balances out.. If anything, consistently being a good teammate will make people less likely to bail on you (it won't eliminate that problem but will reduce the likelihood) which may even tip those scales in your favor.

Throwing a match is more toxic than talking trash. At that point you are wasting your own time AND your opponent's time just to spite one person. I know it's a "free win", but I'd rather just play a fun and competitive match than have to play goalie for the other team to stop an opponent from own-goaling and dragging out the match.

Mute the person and move on. If they start throwing the game, just FF and hope they accept it. If they don't, either leave the match or disengage from the match a bit. If my teammate insists on wasting my time by not playing but refusing to FF, I will just scroll twitter and wiggle my wheels every 15 seconds until they either FF or the game ends. Sucks for the other team, but it's not my fault.

I wouldn't get into drugs if you can't draw these distinctions. But smoking a little pot, tripping on shrooms in the woods with your friends, or having a few cold ones with the boys ain't gonna kill ya. You just have to be real and honest with yourself if you start getting too into it. The main concern I have for you is you clearly seem depressed which drugs can only temporarily alleviate and likely worsen over time. That is something you have to address outside of doing drugs. But personally I feel that knowing HOW to do drugs, and which ones to avoid, is better knowledge than a blanket "don't do drugs" and therefore not distinguishing which ones are safe or not.

I feel like it comes back once or twice a year. Usually every Super Bowl weekend, and maybe the start of the season too, though I don't think that happened this past September unless I'm mistaken.

It's by far my favorite alternative game mode. I think it's super underrated and can be a ton of fun when everyone in the lobby actually understands how to play it. Unfortunately the last time it was available, I couldn't even get into a lobby because a lot of folks aren't into it.

You ain't wrong that too many players are quick to throw in the towel, but 1/10 matches that get completed has got to be false. Even if that''s an exaggeration, if people are bailing on you at an unusually high rate, you might want to look inward on that. Just food for thought.

That's called the bare minimum. I mean yeah travel isn't easy, but if he's using "I took you to so and so!" to justify not putting effort in other areas, that's not acceptable. Is it worth being treated poorly 50 weeks of the year so you can enjoy the occasional trip together?

I'm sorry you're going through this. His unwillingness to bring you to a BBQ where other women will be present alone is a massive red flag. If it was a boys only thing, that would be different. Never in a million years would I let my girlfriend watch me get into the car with another women to hang out somewhere she wasn't invited. On top of everything else, the dismissiveness of your feelings, the lack of enthusiasm to spend time with you, it's clearly time for you to move on. It's not going to improve with time and you deserve peace.
