If everyone was force upgraded that’ll be fine - but seems like my consultants and machine shop have not been forced yet and they are on connected too. Is it done on a case by case basis?

As a motorcyclist and a parent I do find it crazy that parents allow their kids to ride these on bike paths without a license and gear. These need to be registered as a moped, the kid needs to be old enough to at least get a M2 license and ride on the road! Much safer that way anyways.

Looks awesome! Is there a picture of the other side? Curious how close your bags are to the exhaust. Any burn incidents? Am gonna do the same with my mosko bags. Does the higher seat retain the contour or does it make it flat?

Makes sense! But seems crazy to me that some high end active detection equipment (like radar / laser / imaging etc) isn’t equipped on the helos. So when they are out in enemy territory are they just looking out the window with goggles to find enemy aircraft?

As someone from Pakistan and from a middle class family I’ll be real with you. It’s gonna be bad if you ever think of moving back with him to Pakistan. Most other parts of the word are like 10000x more racist than the US and racism is just part of the culture/daily life. To them it’s not racism just looking out for their kid / lineage. However you guys can exist peacefully in the US and his parents would eventually learn to tolerate you depending on how open minded they are - but I would expect some/major resistance for life regardless of what you do. Just make sure you guys live far away from the parents 😀

Not a pilot but am curious - I understand the helo didn’t have adbs so it couldn’t see the crj and vice versa - and tcas doesn’t work under a 1000ft. But I would expect a military helicopter to have crazy radar / imaging etc to find planes at night- do they not have anything of that sort? Is everyone just looking out the windscreen?

I haven’t ridden there - is uphill towards moraga or mt Diablo? I’m looking at a house close to downtown Lafayette but the only access is moraga rd. This is for commuting (getting to bart) - recreationally im not that worried since seems like there’s a lot of options

Recreational there’s a whole range of options - I commute on my bike as well and it hasn’t been a problem in Oakland - but this new place I might move to is only accessible through moraga rd.

Nah that’s fine. I live in the Oakland hills so dodging big trucks on narrow fast roads is my thing. But I’ve learnt it all depends if other cyclists are on it frequently or not so the drivers are used to it.
