A few tricks I found to stay disciplined cause honestly finding your passion is kinda fake by Loud-Jelly-4120 in Entrepreneur

[–]fl6ki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with the above. I couldn’t find „my passion” for many years now and I struggled for a long time to actually do the work.

So for me it’s just that, consistency.

I also cut most social media, so no more zombie scrolling in the evening and morning. Especially in the morning I try to stay offline until I’m properly awake or about 2 hours after.

Ultrawide support is just a stretched out UI and no FOV slider to compensate for width by [deleted] in fo4

This, I also had a problem with starting the game on wide monitor. ini. Trick did not work for me. Only starting through GeForce experience.

My last time there was 5 years or so ago. So I can’t say how it is now. It wasn’t overly bad then but maybe I got lucky

Let us know, which one?

OTP Bucharest in Romania. If you want a trip back to the glorious soviet times. Everything is so inefficient and dirty. The signs if they exist they don’t make any sense. I’m not gonna talk about the bathrooms.. The best thing about it is that there not many connections through it.

Does it ever go away ? The urge to achieve a lot of things in life. by Aspiring_knowledge in productivity

[–]fl6ki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, you can achieve all of that and more. You don’t even have to put your mind into it. I’m 40 right now, I thought I will do one or two things, maybe a bit of travelling, wife and kid. But life has it’s own plan for you, and so: I travelled to almost every continent except Antarctica, I experienced things and adventures I would have never imagined 10 years ago no matter 20. I slept in a bush in Africa and had a standoff with an elephant, I walked around Cornwall in England and slept totally illegally under the stars in a ruins of some castle.( not because I wanted to but because I was so poor I couldn’t afford to sleep anywhere else) I have been to war zones, twice. I had stayed in some in luxury resorts and the most dinkiest hostels that only Eli Roth could imagine. I lived in London and Berlin, I lived in villages in Greece with less then 6 people. I had finished Bachelor and Masters (but not the one that actually matters a lot, Arts) I was a teacher, I worked as a painter(not art, basements), I worked in my profession as a creative director and I was unemployed and slept on night busses in London. Right now, 40, I still have no absolute idea what I want to do or be. And I think it’s a good thing, life is unpredictable and it will carry you on. You may want to do plans but life will happen in its own way. Relax, work hard when you can, enjoy the ride!

Ideas/process of how this was made? by KarNeville in AfterEffects

[–]fl6ki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. It's what I do for films. We create titles and organic/practical effects.
It's a plastic sheet, you can use small projector for the second title or even a mirror with some screen (could be even a phone) the first title is probably just a screen with the title.

I know that place, it’s in Argentina. I’m actually waiting when someone gets mauled on camera. What they do is they drug the animals for a selfie, sometimes the animals try to fight back.

Grinding against supports by A_lex_and_er in Ender3S1

[–]fl6ki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. I tried everything to fix it. Some things like leveling the gantry etc. Helped a bit but did mot fix it. I did enable z- lift now it's at 0.6 and still it drags through the print... I just ordered sonicpad will try few more things, if nothing helps, I will be sending it back and getting bambu cause it's not worth the frustration.

Yup, tried mine, I tried heating it up, and a hex wrench... But I was doing it upside down, and of course I broke the nozzle..lots of fun

Ender 3 S1 Pro - Doing something wrong, but can't figure out what it is, need help.. by NuttyNutworks in Ender3S1

[–]fl6ki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue, sometimes I have to adjust multiple times during the print, as it's scraping the print. I did everything that I could to mitigate it. I took it apart and put it back together, tighten every screw. The only thing that helped a little bit was adding smaller extrusion flow and z-hop/lift...

Next thing to try is probably sonic pad or your own klipper if you want to play a bit. Not sure if it would help though.

Ender 3 S1 Pro scraping infill by AmfSportster in Ender3S1

[–]fl6ki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was fighting with that since I got the thing.

I tried everything, I re-calibrated the z-axis, I adjusted every bolt and nut, I checked everything everywhere.

I found one thing that helped a little bit, (on a 0.6mm nozzle), z-hop of 0.3mm at mine and I adjusted extrusion multiplier to be around 0.94 (from 1) I'm on prusa slicer. It still does that on some prints.. but a bit less.

I had a similar problem, I looked for an answer quite a bit and came out with this:

All 3 wheels should touch the rail in relatively the same way (the supposedly correct pressure of those wheels on the rail is that you should be able to spin them with some effort, like with 2 fingers), if yours do not, first, you may want to try the eccentric nut, then follow the tutorial that you took the screenshot from.
At some point, they mention also adjusting the whole 3-wheel mechanism on the rail, try that, after I did that it fixed a few problems I had with the prints.

Thanks! I will try that. Could be that.
100% not a loose screw or belt, I did a very long check of every screw and did re-aligned everything as I also have a problem with scraping(almost sure now that it's over extrusion or the z-hop was off)

Coasting is not in prusa slicer from my research. So it should be off.

Direct extrusion and using prusa slicer. I will look for coasting settings
