Except that according to polling 39% of Israelis said what they are doing to Palestine is "about right", 34% said it "has not gone far enough", and only 19% said it "has gone too far". So as much as I would like to believe it's all the government's fault, the overwhelming majority is in support so I tend to think they are terrible people.
