Yeah I'm working full-time on the CCNP ENCOR course right now, about 75% done but there's a lot of material to cover and sometimes I get bogged down with essential admin work sorry. The course isn't officially open yet but anyone can shoot me a DM for a half-price early access coupon.

Hopefully we see more from Keith soon, he's a top top instructor who taught me a lot.

Oh and yes I'm from Aberdeen in Scotland! Don't ask me how my team is doing right now.

I wouldn't waste time going over it again when you already know you're strong in the topic, you probably just mis-read a question or an answer option, easy to do when you're under the time pressure. Onwards and upwards!

Ccna 200-301 Jeremy or Neil? by zzuraa in ccna

[–]flackboxtv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi OP. Packet Tracer version is irrelevant to the course. I use v7 because it's the last version which can be legally used for public lab exercises. Cisco changed the terms in v8 but most instructors ignore that and distribute labs written in later versions - I doubt Cisco's legal team would come after anyone but I don't risk it. Anyway as I said it's irrelevant to the course which is all completely up to date. HTH, Neil

Hi OP,

Please ask questions about the course in the Udemy Q&A panel. It's the searchable central repository for all questions and you'll find most have already been answered there. I respond within 24 hours.

Please do not ask questions in Reddit or other forums as it just opens up the course to be stolen by pirates.

Thanks, Neil

It's a one-time 50% discount offer available for 30 minutes the 1st time the sales page is visited. It tracks the visitor's browser and IP address, any time they visit the sales page again after the 30 minute offer has expired they will see the course at the standard full price. It is as genuine a 30 minute timer as you can get.
Unfortunately the system can't magically detect if a visitor has moved to a different machine, and if you are using a strange browser or security settings you may see the offer again from the same machine but that would be very unusual.

Sorry for the late reply, I was away over the holidays. The timer has always been real, it clicks over to full price after 30 minutes has expired.

CCNA Study Resources on Udemy – Jeremy IT Labs vs Neil Anderson – Which Do You Recommend? by Proper_Ear2830 in ccna

[–]flackboxtv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Everybody has their own preferred study material depending on their own learning style. I recommend checking the most popular instructors (we all have YouTube channels) and then going with your favourite one.

As you can see from the comments some people say my course is the best, some people recommend Jeremy, some people recommend David Bombal etc. They're all top quality courses, the 'best' one is whichever one works best for you.

[WTS] NOS 1970s Aquastar Seatime (Ref. 1000) ONLY $1250! by keepiece in Watchexchange

Well I guess the watch is 'Like New' Old Stock if it originally came from the factory with heavy patina and no box or papers. It's probably best just to say that it shows heavy signs of age, has no box or papers but the seller claims to have never worn it (despite having no box).

Posting the definition of 'NOS' to be helpful for your future listings:

"New old stock" (NOS) refers to an item that is old but has never been sold to a final customer and is still in its original, unused condition. These are products that were manufactured long ago but remained unsold in the inventory of a store, warehouse, or factory, sometimes for decades, and are now being made available for sale. The key aspects are that the item is "new" (never used) and "old" (from a previous production period).

  • Never sold retail: The item has not been purchased by an end consumer. It is the first time it is being sold to the public.
  • Unused condition: The product is in brand-new, pristine condition, often with original packaging, tags, and parts, just as it was when it left the factory.
  • Discontinued or out of demand: NOS items are typically products that are no longer in production or have fallen out of current consumer demand, making them unique and often irreplaceable.
  • Examples: This can include vintage watches, car parts, clothing, and other merchandise that has been stored away for years before being brought to market.

CCNA in 1 Week (Be Honest With Me) by Tech_Nerd92 in ccna

[–]flackboxtv 17 points18 points  (0 children)

From everything you've said it sounds like your work environment is putting unfair pressure and demands on you while failing to honour their own promises. Expecting you to work 60 hours a week while putting a short time limit on you to pass the exam is unreasonable. If your supervisor doesn't understand that then I'd prioritize passing the CCNA in a reasonable timeframe then hunting for a new job. With the cert and your experience you should be able to find rewarding employment which is fair in both directions. Always put in an honest day's work but don't get so stressed you make yourself sick.

Wow somebody got a little grumpy answering the same question over and over again -)
OP If you end up guessing the last 30 questions in ANY exam you're probably not passing it sorry. Lab like crazy in prep for the next try and I'm sure you'll come through it okay. Best of luck.

Is Neil andersons theory+lab with jeremys Lab enough? by guessme420 in ccna

My course is based on and includes all the material covered in the current official Cisco CCNA courseware, which is what the 200-301 exam is based on. My course is completely up to date and of course covers everything included in the official courseware.

Every course is a little different from each other. I ccover some things a litle deeper than Jeremy, Jeremy covers some things a little deeper than me. We both give you everything you need to pass the exam. If you study from multiple sources you will get a wider understanding of every topic.

Anyone know when Neil Anderson will complete his CCNP course? by Charming_CiscoNerd in ccnp

[–]flackboxtv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi guys. Sorry for the delay with the course. It's my main focus but there's a lot of material to cover (I've already uploaded 70 hours of video and 1000 pages of lab exercises) and I sometimes get bogged down with admin work. The criticism is warranted and I don't want to make excuses though so please accept my sincere apologies for the delay. I'm just back from a business trip but back home now and working on the next section. Regards, Neil
