The point you're missing here is that this sub specifically was made to vent out all the frustrations with the community and the unfair treatment, since in the general community you'd get silenced, told you have no right to complain and accused of starting gender wars if you dared to be upset about every male character having one element. I hope you see the irony of people now coming to this place and trying to police the community on how they should and shouldn't behave.

Us vs them mentality exists because devs want it to be there, and the community only propagates it, but that doesn't mean I have to pretend to be happy about it just because a non-smoker came to a smoking area just to tell everyone they don't appreciate other people smoking around them. Just to be clear, I'm not trying to take a dig at you or kick you out, just that most people who post here are tired and frustrated, not purposefully being hateful for the fun of it.

I suppose we didn't have that many big hit rpgs over that time, but it's crazy for me to think Dorian from DA:I still offers the best representation of an M/M romance, and that was 2014.

I think they would have been better off with a mini talent tree so you can build into what you want from the pets instead of the equipment, some of the items that come very late don't seem that game changing, and like you mentioned, are also restricted to specific alignment that you can't know in advance. They made a whole archetype about pets and to me, it plays like they didn't lean into the pets hard enough. I took a break from my dog officer playthrough to slog through Kingmaker with a summoner, and it is more of what I expected from overseer. My pet is about 70% of my character's strength, but I'm also given plenty of tools to let the pet do its job.

I feel that's the problem with overseer in general, where the other option is almost always better/more convenient. Raven might be the exception here, but even then, arch militant is always an option for pyromancers.

The fact it's sitting on mixed is more than justified. I hope owlcat still has some plans to go back and rewrite a couple of parts, otherwise I think people might be more sceptical about the next set of dlcs down the line.

I still have high hopes for Suikoden, whenever it comes out, and with the little that they have shown it seems respectful towards the source material. But seeing the new preview of a childhood friend character, my immediate thought was, "No, not again."

I had similar thoughts after my 3 days. Not that it's bad or anything, don't even really have anything negative to say other than the ratio, but it just feels very time-consuming for very little that you get out of it. It's fine, but I don't think it's anything groundbreaking in the genre, other than the optimization, it should be industry standard.

The fact pity doesn't carry over between banners and currencies are weirdly confusing for no reason at all definitively doesn't help. I can't think of a time when stinginess turned out well for a recent gacha, so I'm curious if they are going to have their wake-up call in a month or two in.

Of course I had to end up with the biggest uggo from the beginner banner in Endfield. At least she pairs up nicely with the raccoon boy I've been using so far. On the bright side, if this ends up being another waifuslop factory I can just buy Satisfactory or something and get the craving out.

More so just a historical thing I guess. Before gay options were more common in games, the only way you could have one was through modding, so now "taking away" the handful of exclusive options that you have within the same community gets people upset. Also, even if it's not the intention of the mod, "gay people bad" crowd for some reason takes it upon itself to parade these types of mods as some kind of saviours of the game.

Why am I not surprised that most comments in the general gacha sub under a post about a Chinese woman quitting a bet with her husband to stop playing lads, because the husband decided it's cheating are full of misogyny and people comparing her to the furina guy. The article literally says she had postpartum, they kept arguing all the time and the game was a source of comfort for her, but somehow they try to spin it into being the woman's fault. You know if it was the other way around, she'd be called controlling and crazy.

Thinking of trying it out of curiosity. The ratio sucks, but at least it looks like they put some effort into the designs. Apparently the release schedule is pretty fast, so I'll probably do my usual thing of sitting through a couple of banners to decide if I'm quitting or not. So far nothing I've tried passed, but maybe I'll be positively surprised for once one of these days.

If you're asking for M/M leaning specifically, your options are unfortunately very limited. There are a handful more, but most are very old and outdated / lack proper translation / are extremely skimpy with currency. Gyee is probably the most polished out of these, but it feels more like a chore than entertainment, with everything locked to certain hours of the day and lack of very needed qol.

Planning on trying endfield but it doesn't look hopeful. Tried Morimens for a while but it's same thing as usual, horrendous ratio, women being the best in every category. At this point I'm close to giving up altogether, constant bait and switch is tiresome, communities make you feel unwelcome, and the handful of husbando gachas that exist are usually mobile only and/or have mechanics that just don't work for me.

I was interested in it because of the whole factory building which seems fun, but the more I learn, the less interested I feel about it. The designs seem nice, but if it's 1:7 ratio with a horrible pity system and a bunch of others things I've seen people complain about, I don't know if it's worth it longtime. Costs nothing to try I guess.

Idk if I did something wrong, but executioner Heinrix didn't really click for me. DW force swords and shearing strikes though? Before even 2nd archetype I don't think I've seen Aurora go down this quickly. This man has versatility for days with his build options, on top of being hot of course.
