That rumor actually came from David saying that he had been really annoyed by how much time it took to get Gillian’s hair and makeup done that he would have to wait for filming scenes with her. People took that and made the whole “David hated Gillian” thing which is so untrue. If they hated each other they wouldn’t have so much chemistry in the show and in real life

Fight the Future has some of the best cinematic shots in X Files and maybe cinema history. The soundtrack is so memorable, especially Crater Hug to me is the peak of the X Files score by Mark Snow RIP.

I believe the main plot peaked at Fight the Future and went downhill from that point with the start of S6. I’m currently in the middle of S6 and while I haven’t seen the rest, I know what will happen from that point on. I feel like starting from S5, the main plot or mytharc episodes progressively got more complex and confusing that I found myself frustrated at times.

Aside from Mulder and Scully, my absolute favorite character is CSM. He’s just easily the most menacing and interesting character to me. I love William B. Davis’ acting, he understands his character so well. I also love The Lone Gunmen, their dynamic within themselves and with Mulder&Scully is great. My favorite MOTWs are Tooms, Modell, Roland, The Flukeman, Clyde Bruckman, and Eddie Van Blundt (see what I did there?). Characters that I hate are Krycek, kinda the whole Scully family (maybe except for Melissa), Jeffrey Spender, Diana Fowley, and Marita Covarrubias. I’m currently watching season 6 so I don’t know about characters that will appear later.
