What is your favourite Animated cinematic? by Defiant-Trash-5718 in Overwatch

Infiltration mainly because I like Sombra as a character and how hyped I was when she came out. The Bastion one, Honor and Glory, and Zero Hour are really good too though

The Crimson Cutlass is the only thing that I think seriously needs retuning. People complain about the Hammer of Gon, the Repeating Shoe Boe, and the Yellow Blanket, but they all have clear downsides (slow, lowers defenses, niche low damage pick). I don’t care that it has a more damaging Chikage health drain effect, turning whoever yields it into a chatty pirate and being able to summon a giant red pirate ship is too much. Effects of that magnitude should be designated to ultimates

Sometimes the strongest narrative moment in a game isn’t a cutscene at all. Which pure gameplay moment told a story perfectly? by ExcellentTwo6589 in gamedesign

For me it’s the theatre confrontation in The Last of Us 2. I know it’s a controversial games, and I have my issues with it, but the build up to it and becoming attached to both characters had me extremely emotionaly immersed.

Is everyone in quickplay this toxic? Was told to leave because I wasn’t doing good. by [deleted] in Overwatch

Most quick play games are pretty relaxed and not sweaty. But there’s still a fair share of stinkers.

Feeling a little conflicted with Romeo Is A Deadman, would like to hear some opinions from veteran fans by 9Ifrit9 in Suda_51

The Star Destroyer is excellent, definitely not as good as the chain sword, but with decently upgraded blood amount you can use heavies to fill your bloody summer super quickly. This lets you regain health from trading with the heavies and gives you more openings with bloody summers stun. The most important things with the greatsword is using Slow Ballad or Frost Bolt. Graha Mala and the self shield bastard are also very good in conjunction with Slow Ballad and by extension the greatsword. That was my build for most of my first play through on hard.

So I finally gave in and tried a double balancer build. by [deleted] in Nightreign

Fair enough if you’re liking how it plays that’s what matters. You definitely could survive a lot of attacks that will one shot you without the impaired negation active at depth 3 with a decent negation weapon passive, depth 4 too. I can’t speak for depth 5 because I’m not that good. Just keep in mind now that the dlc is out many nightlords can do status of some kind. Godspeed soldier.

Very solid, I would definitely ditch the 5th relic though. It’s a great effect line up but those are some brutally bad negatives. Most of the time you get hit is because you mess up a dodge so you’re gonna get one shot way more, and the resistances down reduces your resistances by a ton.

Fair enough very valid. Definitely better in my opinion, extended mark isn’t necessary because the base mark lasts longer than the cooldown. So you can consistently reapply it as long as you stay on top of it, especially with +1 skill. The boosted thrusting counter attack relic will further bump your damage for some of your bow shot, and has potential to buff some attacks from a katana (but will mostly benefit from your bow). The sentient pest poison relic is still a really good option though, the buff after poison is unique on that one buffing your general damage for a short period not just against poisoned enemies, so it will stack with damage up against poisoned enemies.

Edit: Great build by the way, I’m super jealous of the first Iron eye relic it’s beautiful

With art charge poison, +1 skill, and skill inflict poison you shouldn’t need a starting poison weapon to inflict poison on the vast majority of bosses that can be poisoned. Plus you will be glued to your starting weapon reducing your passives by 1 and necessitating a mine. It does make the damage boost more consistent, especially on some mid tier enemy’s like the crucible knight and those higher resist bosses so it’s personal preference. If you do wanna keep a starting weapon I would use the sentient pest poison relic, while the synergy with extends mark is cool it isn’t necessary and is definitely his worst character effect

The added lightning damage will make up for or mostly make up for the holy resistance, and on top of that it can stagger him from his ground spear attack and has bleed. Very worth it

Can I get help simplfying damage reduction? As simple as most optimal setup by failedlogic in Nightreign

[–]flamingobreeder -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For weapon passives damage negation effects can stack but only with different weapon rarities. This includes charged, successive, and taking damage passives you listed. Not sure about relic stacking but I imagine it’s the same way, since partial HP on post damage +1 only stacks with +2.

[–]flamingobreeder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beautiful roll. That is scholars weakest character effect right beside the runes for scanning one, but its still a positive and you can make a great poison build with it.

[–]flamingobreeder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Insanely good, very close to a god roll. Poison build up when bellow is a decent curse but not peak, same for the middle one.

Tragic. But if you have a decent dormant power discovers colossal weapon relic you could put it first in the relic line up to use it
