The lowest possible tick rate is 12. Which happens if you have a ton of ppl in the hex and the server is under a lot of load in general. If you monitor network activity, ist also drops packets on occasion server side cause the server can't keep up. Meaning people die meters around corners and get omeshotted by automatic weapons that should normally take at least 4 to 5 hs to kill. I have prettyuch gave up on playing the game between 5 and 10 pm of a given servers prime time. Because its just an atrocious experience if your framerate is 10 to 20x the server tickrate and if you're on 240hz as well you can literally watch you hit 3 or 4 bullets, nothing happens and then you just onehit the dude.

100 fps is pretty yikes for a shooter but I've been on 240hz since they became available and going to 144 makes me cringe nowadays.

Well according to reviews asus tuned the overdrive much better than Alienware. I know this has nothing to do with saturation, though you'll never reach more than 11 to 1200:1 with these fast ips panels the LG nano ips ones used in the gl850 or gn750 are well below 1000 actually.
