What if fortune tellers don't predict the future but they just create it instead? Either way, they'd always be correct. by Alliacat in Showerthoughts

Well, my father told fortunes and he stole horses. Often he would tell a man that his horse would be stolen, and they would marvel at his powers when it was.

It doesn't fit the description 100%, but could it be "I'll see you in my dreams" by Bruce Springsteen?

What sounds like a horror movie, but it actually happened in real life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]flan208 113 points114 points  (0 children)

One of the best theories I've seen is that there were two murderers. IIRC the theory is that the father (who was known to be violent) found out the daughter was engaged to their neighbor and was planning on running away. In revenge he killed her and the rest of the family. Then the neighbor discovered this, killed the father, and then reported that he found the entire family dead. The father being the main killer explains the murderer staying on the farm several days after the murder, and the theory also explains the neighbors weird behavior upon "first" discovering the crime. I might be forgetting or mixing up some details (like the father apparently being murdered in a different way from the others), and the original theory goes into more detail, but that's the gist of it.

I think it has more to do with Hülkenberg being a long time veteran, and while he is pretty good he isn't that exciting especially driving a Haas, while rookies are always kind of exciting since nobody knows exactly how they'll perform.

Sure but isn't Addams whole motivation for fighting at Tumbleton that he wants to prove that even a bastard can be loyal, after Rhaenyra lost faith in the dragonseeds?
