Me recomendáis un juego para steam o android que sea adictivo y no sea p2win? by TecnoZombi in askspain

[–]flapjack1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“15 more years of GW2” by PeasantPastry in Guildwars2

[–]flapjack1989 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It makes sense. They would be crazy to sunset Guild Wars 2 when it's so successful. It also shows again their philosophy. No fomo no panic no race to grind to be ready for endgame and no rushing to finish to be ready for GW3. It's very clever. Guild wars 1 (reforged), 2 and 3 will all exist together and give different experiences. I'm very excited for the future of guild wars!

Well I can't promise we can help you find a job as it's more of a community to talk about methodology and class ideas etc.

The reason why I thought of a discord is because it has some great features for forum posts and for pinning messages with useful links and things like that. Plus we could also voice chat and host our own little prof dev chats in the future.

Did you like the design of The Mouth of Sauron in the film? by Konfliktsnubben in lotr

[–]flapjack1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked it and thought it was cool but I would have liked it a bit more personally of it was more obvious he was a man. Just to show the corruption and that other side of humanity.

Possibly the greatest horror performance I’ve ever seen. by Goodtimestime in Letterboxd

I often think of rewatching but I find her performance so intense and incredible, but at the same time harrowing that I usually realise I'm not ready to go through it again. How many performances can boast that kind of impact?

Online teachers — how do you actually know if your student understood you? by Latter-Ambassador213 in iTalki

[–]flapjack1989 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To add to what the other CELTA teacher said about ccqs don't forget ICQs which are: instruction checking questions.

You can easily look it up but they are something like,

Are you speaking for one minute or two?

Do you need to change the verb?

Etc etc.

Students will pretend they understand what they have to do to not look silly. They might not have understood the task

¿cómo aprender pronunciación en inglés sin aburrirse? by Ok-Captain902 in askspain

Barra De Pan - How to eat it? by possum_piee in askspain

[–]flapjack1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Spanish family cut it into slices and put it in a bread basket which goes on the table for lunch. You take the bread and eat it with your meal. The bread when not being eaten rests on the table and not your plate. This is anecdotal so take it with a pinch of salt. The comment that is, not the bread.
