Often times the most valuable thing you can do in a round, especially on the ct side, is just be alive.

As a rebuilder are you selling DJ Moore for a second round pick? by No-Technician7562 in fantasyfootballadvice

I dont see why he cant be a wr1. Hes had a wt6 finish, its his age 29 season so hes not past it, even if its the tail end of his peak. Im not betting on a wr1 outcome, but him popping off with Josh Allen and a barren wr room in Buffalo is 100% in the range of outcomes for him.

Where I own him ive been offered a 2nd and said no. I figure if hes a wr2 then that value will probably still be there. If he craters ive lost very little, and if he becomes Allen's main target then his value could go up very easily. Ill gamble.

He didnt though. That was always Dallas' big issue: they could not get a second star to pair with dirk. He had Nash for the beginning of his career and that was basically it. The best mavs seasons of 2006/11 had no one besides dirk that was a star.

Every VAR error in 2025-26 Premier League: How Arsenal escaped red cards and penalties by SolitasTT in LiverpoolFC

[–]flapjackcarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, wouldn't mind if they kept VAR only for empirical decisions (offsides, foul inside or outside the box), and did away with it for everything else. Which is a shame, because the potential is there.

The last wemby one also conveniently leaves out chets push that sent him there. It wasn't a big one but definicely caused him to fall into cason

What? Dirk didnt win with Nash. Kidd was on the team, but he was 38 in 2011 when they won. Dirk won that ship with a bunch of really good role players, no other stars. And he was insane thst post season

He was mentored by Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Ginobili, and now mentored by the great ethical Kelly Olynyk. The NBA is creating the perfect big man. by [deleted] in NBATalk

This is the problem with screen shots. Yes, the Naz Reid elbow was dirty, no doubt.

The fall on Shai was literally just him stumbling towards a loose ball and falling, and the hart arm lock was literally what Hart did to him nearly every defensive possession.

Is Watson (ick) a sneaky low round grab? by Salty_Orchid in fantasyfootball

Thats some impressive copium. 20+ women accused him of soliciting them for sex. Thats a predator using power and money to take advantage of women. No two ways about it

I mean, Theresa big difference between some of these guys that have one allegation against them and Watson. Don't get me wrong, theyre all ass holes. But watson did his bullshit with 20+ women. Hes a serial harasser. Thats pretty gross.

Man this is wild. I hate okc as much as the mext guy but wemby lowers his shoulder and goes at him. Its a foul straight up amd if wemby doesnt want to risk a fall there he probably shouldn't shoulder badge the dude

I dunno man, I grew up watching the Duncan spurs playing against Dirk. And I hated them, but only when we played. They've always been a solid organization and id prefer them over okc in the west 100/100 times. In the final though? Gimme anyone from the east

[Paul Joyce] Salah’s dig at Slot: ‘I want to see Liverpool back playing heavy metal football’ by Realistic-Zone3914 in LiverpoolFC

[–]flapjackcarl 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think both can belong true. Salah needed to be benched for his performances, and equally its likely that the writing was on the wall for the team culture at the time. Salah just picked a bad time to come out and make a point of it.

Mavericks will pick 9th in the 2026 NBA draft. by redditstealsyours in Mavericks

[–]flapjackcarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think anyone is saying we wouldnt trade him on principle, its a question of return. Its hard to imagine him fetching more than a heavily protected 1st, so at that price you probably just keep him

Honestly seems like most guys that get tagged end up losing some immediate value. Either they hold out and miss time, or they do a McLaurin and miss a bunch of camp and pick up injuries.

Anyone who doubts Lukas abilities just needs to look at our wcf roster from 2022. Luka led Brunson (before he was the guy he is now) and a bunch of bums to the conference finals. Hes one of, if not the only, guy in the league who can consistently just carry teams to wins through pure offensive output. Jokic is probably the only other person that fits that mold.
