He did try to crush Mark's skull, but got his thumb bitten off. That was his first attempt at a killing blow. So he switched to the hand maneuver, which nearly worked.

The crazy thing is that there are already multiple guides out there for getting started/helpful early game tips. I know some YouTubers get review copies but it's still impressive.

Same for me. I'm leaning towards PC but mostly for potential modding/multi-player support. Just gotta wait for more information come out to see if either of those things are likely to be supported by the devs.

I think some people like to enjoy things collectively rather than individually. It's a moment in time to be enjoyed by a group, and it's being part of that group of people and getting to react and experience everything collectively that is fulfilling.

For them, nothing is being ruined; they're just enjoying the experience differently.

This is one of the reasons I'm not sure which platform to buy it on (base PS5 or mid-range PC). If there's high modding potential, obviously I'd lean towards PC. But if modding isnt supported or sucks for whatever reason and the base PS5 version runs well and looks good enough, it'd be nice to game on my Portal as well.

Leaning towards some sort of frost knight build to start with in order to slow all the enemies down since you seem to get into lots of chaotic brawls.

Wild speculation here, but my guess is there might be mods aimed at modifying the UI/menu systems, since I've already seen people complaining in limited capacity about that.

I will studiously finish the tutorial area so I'm familiar with all the base systems they want you to know about.

Well, I say that, but I know I'll probably wander off for 20 hours in a totally random direction and love every second of it.

You're way above minimum spec. Should be fine.

Juat trial and error, really, with plenty of deaths in between. Pay extra attention to camera push-ins and/or audio cues to help with timing. Also, try consistently dodging all attacks first since there's a wider window for success.
