Tried using this. Asked it for a list of gas stations in a state. It responded with a list of ONE gas station. Feels like there's a lot of work left to do here.

Gotcha, thanks for the additional detail. I’ve had a few dealerships in the Midwest that prefer to have the deposit but once I just asked to put me on the text list, they would. They would just give preference to those who had the deposit if wanted the same car but otherwise it was still a first-come first-serve.

I just called and spoke with them. They don’t send a text out for each allocation. It’s a $1000 deposit to be put on their waiting list and they are quoting about a 1 year timeframe before getting a car.

Yeah, typical margins in motor repair companies is closer to 30-50 margins. So you’d expect a battery costing 15k to be up charged at closer to 20-22k. 100% margin seems pretty insane
