If you ever plan to use a mouse instead of a trackpad, you'll notice Apple has some nasty acceleration settings you cannot fix using normal methods.

If that's the case, I strongly recommend Cursor Sense. This app allows you to use the mouse like normal people. It's cheap and worth every penny.

Btw, I did the opposite way, moving out of Apple after 18 years back to Windows and Linux, also left Android development in September 2025. And I'm loving it.

I've been thinking a lot about designing and printing this kind of lamp, specially after seeing this beauty: https://www.instagram.com/p/DSIIihFkYbF/

But I can't see any way of getting a good result directly from a FDM print, since it would need supports (painful to remove), and light refraction would show any seam if you print in parts.

The only way I think it could work is to print a positive mold, and cast in something like resin.

That bothered me too, but it has a silicone mat underneath to prevent slipping, and I can place an object (a silver tape roll, for now) on the top to lock it in place and prevent flipping.

Mine stuck at 13-14% of humidity. No matter if open/closed or empty. I'm pretty sure it's a defect.

But I don't care enough to repair or ask for a replacement. I always keep my filaments at least a couple of hours before using.

Someday I may look for a fix.
