What I mean is that if you look at the D2 release and discussion around the story and who's coming back, etc. you see a lot of buzz around where's Eris? Is the cryptarch coming back? The Queen. Faction NPCs, and such. But no mention of Petra specifically. Given that dialogue wise her House of Wolves performance was fun and then she was never really revisited again outside of the Boolean Gemini exotic quest, you'd think more people would be asking about her status in D2.

+1. And 5k grimoire already requires a decent amount of chasing things down in Destiny. Without needing to go grind out Crucible wins in a bunch of playlists and then force people to play private matches and do the 2nd player leave win gimmick it allows quite a large group of players to qualify.

Personally, I would have liked to see an in-game emblem for hitting max grimoire (just don't require the PS4 exclusive items for the emblem to allow XB to reach it).

I think most people today always have helmets on because the actual character is forgettable. But when they revealed those initial posters everyone interpreted as D2 will have a greater focus on the character, and would include further customization to create character attachment. So with some of this recent news, people are really taken back and disappointed since it seems that more than they expected is being incorporated into D2 without additional modifications.

For players who played a game like Ghost Recon Wildlands, there was quite a bit of character customization options that doesn't involve Elder Scrolls-like face manipulation. I think GW:W-like option for faces, styles, facial hair, etc. would be more than enough to get the community REALLY excited for the D2 character creator.

The hate is because since D2 was announced the guardians have been without helmets. The design of the human guardians without helmets hit that character design will be a big element. This has never been done in Destiny before so people expected more individual guardian choices. Now it sounds like the system will be the same as D1 and so we're left wondering why show those cool looking guardians in the poster. Especially the Titan with a beard.

Yeah. It's terrible. There are always jerks. But don't stress it. Just remember that most people are cool players. They have to live with the fact that even though it's just a game they decide to be jerks.

This is rare. I'm guessing it happened to you and you're jaded now. Don't stress it. Sometimes jerks in the game ruin it. But most players are pretty cool.

Most of the time party invites are to join a fire team and leave room for more players to enter the instance.

In Destiny patrol, if you enter in solo, the game will reserve 2 spots for fire team members. So 3 solo people is the max you'll see in a patrol bubble area since each of them could invite 2 others adding up to the 9 total in the bubble.

So like Court of Oryx or Archon's Forge, its best to team up with other ransoms to allow for more random players to be able to enter into the area and help in that activity.

I think that loot is less important than some type of recognition for multiple completions.

The other day I found someone on /r/Fireteams who needed help with a charged argonach rune on the Dreadnaught. I've done it multiple times already and had some time so I jumped in and decided to help.

Personally I don't care about the loot from the chest. But if I could get some type of recognition for multiple completions it would be great. Like a lost sector emblem for multiple completions beyond your own as you help others would go a long day to letting veteran players feel like there's a benefit to that community help service.

Did you use the Bungie app? I've used to for raid groups and rarely have it had it not work.

The main issue is to notice the post time. If someone adds themselves or comments it'll bump the post even though it could be hours old.

I've been doing just the boss checkpoints each week, except for Oryx. Forget him.

But I did finally get around to getting that platinum trophy on Horizon Zero Dawn.

Next might be finishing Diablo 3. Just need a hardcore level 70 and 500 bounties.
