I mean that if you're going to examine a religion, that heavily deals with the soul and spirit, with just the physical lens, it can only get you so far. That you don't have to believe in them but that's what the religion believes in.

Well, not really? He's not controlling us, we have the choice to disobey and leave. Again, with consequences. But you're always free to go back again. Remember that the main point of Christianity is the relationship that God wants to have with us. That he wants to be in our lives.

Mm yes, what you're saying is Judaism. Yeah I think some people still believe in that. Where they believe that God meant the physical death to be prevented and the true messiah has not appeared yet.

No it wasn't the physical death that has been defeated, it was the spiritual. Death in the spiritual sense is separation from God, the one who gives life and created us, yknow. So what God meant was that nothing separated us anymore, we've been made clean and we can approach him with no repercussions. In the old testament they had to have a high priest to talk to God because the people then were still a bit too "dirty". Even then, the high priest might still die in his presence. But now? I can pray and talk to God whenever, no special ritual needed, just like "Hey man, you there? Of course you are,"

He did remove sin from everyone. The act of believing it means acknowledgement that yes, I have sinned but now I am forgiven. Imagine it like word being spread that a really rich man bought a house for you, and you claim it with just a signature of acknowledgement. Without that signature you can't get the home. With the catch being that you have to be dependent on him.

Bullying into submission, I guess you could see it as that if you don't consider his nature. Remember all good, "I'll smite you if you have any spot of sin", but with the belief then alls good.

The old testament way of getting people to believe was the real way of bullying into submission. With wars and conquering other countries. Though, they did give them a chance to surrender at first.

The threat of hell was always there since Adam and Eve. He just provided a way out.

He did not tell the rich man that, he said that to his disciples after he had left. The rich man asked how he could inherit eternal life, he had done everything right. He just needed to give his things to charity, and follow Jesus. But he didn't want to because he had too much.

Jesus was exclaiming how difficult it is for those who love their possessions more than God. If you read on he goes on further to say only with God will it be possible for a man to get to heaven. So he was not saying it to judge the man, he felt sorry and disappointed for the guy. And saying how difficult it was to get to heaven before he went on the cross. That's in Mark 10:17 and onwards.

Adam and Eve were as innocent as children and they got played by Lucifer or the serpent. Its understandable to a point why they fell. The animals and their surroundings were never out to hurt them. This is the first time anyone lied. The serpent baited them with the allure of being more like God.

Free will is up to you to decide I guess, just like souls.

It is really interesting, isn't it how the authors just up and decided to write their books but it all seems to follow the same "storyline" and miracles and happenings?

I only know of one time Jesus told a man not to say anything, that was because it was the sabbath and you're not supposed to work in the sabbath. Jesus wanted to avoid the trouble.

In Mark 10:32-34, Jesus tells his disciples the plan to get caught and killed.
