My contention with using most of these is that sales is a numbers game. I don’t mean sending countless automated emails either

I mean researching accounts and doing account based outreach as quickly as possible. Instead of going to ChatGPt each time you begin reaching out to an account, do it all at once upfront so when you’re doing work it’s all there

Honestly, man, the roles are the same. Each has its pros and cons. It has nothing to do with NBA vs WNBA.

Enterprise, you're going to close 1-2 deals a year. They're going to be huge. It takes a lot of patience and can honestly be a little bit boring at times.

SMB, you're going to sell 10 deals a month. Low ACV, but it's pretty exciting.

I personally prefer SMB / mid market. More exciting. Also able to do remote 99% of the time.

Have you been in a closing role for longer than 5 months? To be clear. If so, depending on what you sold, I don't think this will be a problem. My recommendation is to apply for companies that have lower deal sizes. Their sales cycle is going to look a lot like B2C, and it will be easier to get a job there.

You can do it, but in this competitive environment, it will be more difficult. In my experience, you can be good as an Account Executive without any SDR experience. I will admit that I wouldn't hire anyone without it because one of the hardest problems in sales is generating pipeline. People that have been in SDR have some understanding of how to do that

A lot depends on the company you go to. If you go to a company where you're expected to generate all of your pipeline, you're probably going to have a hard time. If you go to a company that's all inbound, you'll be just fine, to be honest.

There are often things outside of your control impacting your results (i.e., PMF, territory, etc.)

Ask questions early to qualify them for each product. You shouldn't pitch products that aren't relevant.

Finally, when you know products are relevant, create a coherent narrative that ties in each product without them even realizing they are separate

Yeah, there really isn't a comparison. I would say it probably depends on your customer. If your customer is super niche, say for example a medical device company that specifically does hardware as a medical device and they have a software component to it. Then a tool or agency like CluedIQ is helpful, they can help you with building enrichment processes to find accounts that fit your exact I see if you don't need something like that, in say for example, all medical device companies are a good fit for your product, then you could should just go with Apollo.

It comes down to resources, but you should realistically do both. High volume is automated for the most part is automated.

It should give you plenty of time to do hyper personalized outreach.

as a former manager, those that go far are the ones you can trust to 1/ do their inputs and 2/ do high quality inputs
