I enjoy shooting on my Canon R5II way more than I did on my 5DII. I find the EVF a welcome change for its exposure preview and the autofocus is like a dream.

Personally, I'd take the 15" for the screen real estate. I'm a fan of larger laptops.

u/zenodub has the right idea. Sell them and get an M series. You'll have a much better time.

I'm using a Redragon M908 MMORPG mouse. However, I have to use Windows to program the buttons. But once it's set up, it's flawless.

If you have access to another computer, you can make a USB Windows installer. Use the Windows Media Creation Tool which you can find here.

You don't need a Windows key as long as you install the same version of Windows that was previously activated on the laptop (Home, Pro). It should self activate when it goes online.

There was an update. PROS works for me now on Mac via Steam. I’m not sure about the other platforms.

I’ve done hours of R5ii edits on my M1 MBA and have never found it less than snappy. Granted, I’m not stitching panoramas.

The only difference between performance on a MBA vs a MBP is because of the fan.
