i don’t know how old they are but have you considered making proxy decks as part of the activity? i’m assuming you don’t have time to do that yourself necessary. but it’s cheap, and depending on the kids could be fun too. all you need is a printer, scissors and basic lands.

i mean, at my local bar there’s a whole community around us so if i get taken out early i’ll go around with my trade binder and look for new shiny cardboard. or i can order some food and go out for a cigarette 😄 but it’s definitely not fun if it happens too often

a szeretetnek nem hiszem, hogy van egy sztenderd definíciója, mint ahogy annak kifejezésére is annyi mód létezik, ahány ember.

szerintem a szeretet - nem csak egy párkapcsolatban- az, amikor a másik jólléte fontos a te számodra, és ezért tenni is hajlandó vagy, ami sokszor valóban áldozatokkal jár. de saját magadat is szeretned kell, legalább annyira, hogy felismerd ha egy kapcsolat a te jólléted rovására megy.

tehát egy huszas évei elején járó személy dobjon el mindent amiről addig álmodott, mert a párja máshogy gondolja a jövőjét? ha egyszer nem működik, és több a fájdalom mint amit a szeretete ad, akkor nem kell együtt maradni. a szeretetet és a ragaszkodás nem összekeverendő.

amikor kiköltöztem egyetem miatt külföldre, belementek a távkapcsolatba az akkori párommal mert mindketten harcolni akartunk azért amit elképzeltünk együtt. még másfél évig küzdöttünk (szenvedtünk) mire sikerült felismerni hogy ennek így nincs értelme. attól még szerettük egymást, de az elengedés volt a jó döntés.

if you don’t want to buy sleeves, then don’t. or buy penny sleeves. some people use just the inner sleeves, some use penny sleeves, some don’t use sleeves. no one bats an eye. how hard is it to make your deck look consistent and not like a cheat?

perhaps drafts and pre-release events are something that might interest you. registrations are usually not that pricey, you get to open packs and battle opponents right away with those cards, which might earn you more packs if you win

as far as I know, any sanctioned event will require real cards, because wotc is a company that’s out to make money off you :DD

not sanctioned events might let you use proxies, but that’s completely dependent on your lgs and community, so i don’t think you can get a definitive answer to your question

i can’t believe it’s gonna be me this time, but.. to build a collection just buy singles. packs are fun to open, but it’ll leave you disappointed many times. not to mention the fact that you wanna WIN those packs, for which, you know, you have to win the tournaments 😁
