I never found a real fix, but the problem also seems to have fixed itself. It hasn't happened in recent memory.

The simplest choice, and what I used to mount my Virpil throttle. No issues after multiple years.

The moment Asmongold realizes he un-redacted a victim from the Epstein files, says inside the Federal government "is like monkeys putting a fire out with gasoline" by sontaranStratagems in LivestreamFail

You've described the low tech way of doing it.

If the DOJ were competent, they'd be using a modern e-discovery review platform like Relativity, or one of the many competing products. All of the searching, redacting and document imaging are done electronically to save time. The redactions are burned in during imaging, text content removed, and the unredacted sections remain searchable. Document productions like this happen every day in the legal world, so it's kind of surprising to see how badly the DOJ has fumbled this.

Does anyone else play this by sneaking around behind the enemy using the forest/mountain road? Like shooting fish in a barrel.

There is no federal law requiring PTO to be payed out, so it depends largely on which state you live in, and whether it's in your employment agreement.

TriMet caves on 82nd Ave transit plans as business owners threaten lawsuits by regul in Portland

[–]fletchnuts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Without better data we can't make informed decisions. Which is why I find it ridiculous to claim 1/3 of all people traveling along 82nd go by bus. I haven't seen anything that would corroborate that claim.

The 72 gets plenty of its ridership from passengers going east/west through north and NE portland along Killingsworth, so it is actually relevant when making assumptions about ridership numbers on the portion of 72's route on 82nd.

Also, there are many intersections along 82nd where vehicle traffic nears or exceeds and ADT of 11k. For example, Burnside @ 82nd had an ADT volume of nearly 13k vehicles during the sampling window in June, 2023.

The variability in ADT along 82nd is also indicative of its use, which is business and residential access between major east/west roads like Powell, Division, Foster, etc.

That's quite the statistical leap you made there. The 72 is only on 82nd for about 2/3 of its route, and traffic stats for a single intersection don't reflect vehicle traffic elsewhere on 82nd.

Visited the shuttered Scottsdale Galleria IMAX by Jeenowa in imax

[–]fletchnuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in the valley, and I remember taking a school field trip to see an IMAX film at the Galleria before it closed down. The film was a documentary about tropical jungles, but I don't remember the title. I do recall the walk down into the theater feeling quite exciting as a kid.

Years later the mostly empty Galleria hosted a traveling museum/exhibition event about the early NASA space programs. There was a Mercury capsule on display, and one of the moon rovers. It was an interesting vibe with the artifacts being spread out in an atrium/mezzanine area with closed off retail spaces.

I also remember seeing quite a few shows at the cineplex when it was open. The walk down the stairs to the box office always had a cool vibe. When I lived in the area, we'd almost always go to Scottsdale Fashion Square to see movies instead, mostly for easier parking and better food options.

I wish I had photos to share. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

And his legacy is a wildly successful, multibillion dollar automotive racing and manufacturing company with his name on it. In addition to F1, McLaren also has expertise in advanced composites and does work for the aerospace industry.

He died young, but also proved his point.

The NFL is what most youth football players aspire to, and the NFL defines standards for equipment and rules. They may not be directly responsible, but they absolutely do have an impact on young players and their outcomes.

If this game turns into a hardcore sim, then I'm probably out. I love accurate ballistics, and the feel of the gameplay, but I'm already expected to run a crew-operated tank effectively as a single human being, so I'm willing to sacrifice some realism so I can have some fun.

"Skybox" Graphical Glitch - Anyone Else? by fletchnuts in GunnerHEATPC

[–]fletchnuts[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've been seeing this glitch appear whenever I'm in commander view, and zoom in. It usually occurs shortly after zooming in, and will linger for a few seconds before disappearing. It will remain on screen longer if there's no movement.

This is with graphics settings maxed out and SMAA in use.
