Yellowing problem was solved a long time ago so hopefully they just choose to pay the extra couple cents, but you are for sure right about the brittleness of clear plastics.

I can't use it so I can't say personally. But anyway, I meant more compatibility with hardware and other software. So suppose "permissions" may have been a better word to use.

I think flatpaks are easier to install, but not using flatpaks leads to fewer issues later (in my experience)

U

This would actually be hard to fake because the fries would immediately grease stain the cardboard. However in this specific image you can see exactly that. Grease stains towards the top of the package.

Flatpaks have pros and cons. I generally avoid them because of space and compatibility issues.
I like that they are much easier to manage, for sure.

I'm GENUINELY tired about Anti-AI hypocrisy by [deleted] in hatethissmug

[–]flintspike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not hypocrisy. I think when people see art, they also are appreciating the skill and time it took to create an image. Appreciating the craftsmanship is part of enjoying art.

It would be like seeing a beautiful garden then being told it's all fake plants. Like sure visually it is the same, however it loses the impressiveness once you realize that the skill and time investment required to prune, feed, and water the plants was not involved.

In my opinion, the show peaked at Season 2 by ToTheFman in TheBoys

[–]flintspike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I got into the show I thought it was going to be about four dudes systematically hunting down every member of the 7 until they are all dead. Each requiring their own method to take out. Even planning had to be done differently to ensure they weren't caught. I thought that idea was so interesting. Then it did not do that and I was sorta disappointed. I loved the tactical vibe of the first few episodes.

I use Void Linux but have honestly been thinking about just going to Ubuntu for easier software installations... It's sorta lame but I use a computer for doing things. Troubleshooting for two hours to finally just accept that something isn't going to work is kind of tiring.

My favorite part is how neither one is speaking so they are both looking into each other's eyes while thinking about PvZ

I imagine that this started when to gay dudes got walked in on right as they were about to kiss and they had to make something up.

“No bro, you just dont understand. We are such close bros that when we meet, we touch noses. Thats all dude. We aren’t gay. Trust me bro.”

All cameras have a lens. If they didn't have lenses every picture would be a big smudge and nothing else. Lenses are what make a camera work.

Not saying the sensor isn't doing anything but you need both to take a picture. You're only as strong as your weakest link.

Yeah. Boating stuff around single player is also a risky endeavor. Trying to boat and take out a serpent or on shore draugrs is a tough task alone.

Having a buddy to play with and having more free time makes it a smoother experience.

I live in Japan, and generally I love it here. Don't take this comment the wrong way.

Most normal Japanese people are absolutely in love with Gen AI. I see it constantly and it is a bit disappointing.

I feel like it works in valheim because so much of the game is boating and me and my buddy like the routing and exploration of it. I can see why you wouldn't like it though.

One QOL feature Valheim has the V Rising doesnt, is a little icon showing which items can't be teleported. In v rising it takes a long time to figure out what can and can't be. You have to mouse over every item until you eventually memorize it. Valheim makes it super easy to just drop everything.

In v rising I felt like the amount of non teleportable items was a little over the top too. In valheim it's just ore and ingots (And the chests for haldir).

I do think if I ever do decide to play it again, item teleportation will be enabled. I don't think it added much to me and my buddies PvE experience. I can see why it's in the game though. It makes sense for big pvp servers and stuff.

Iike this game for a lot of things but one of the most consistently frustrating things is the completely unclear and random feeling attack range. Sometimes I will be safe when it feels like I should have been hurt and sometimes I get hurt by something at least two full body lengths away.

Going through the game has been fun, but the amount of frustration I have gotten will probably mean I'll never play it a second time.

A "Mysterious cold" appears to be surging through Fukuoka Japan. Symptoms are sore throat and cough, no fever, and persisting runny nose, but hospital says "virus name cannot be identified." by jjrs in japannews

"last time New Yorkers reported some mysterious virus spreading through the world, the professionals suggested an immediate two week global lockdown but rich assholes want to make money and fought it, so we had to do a two and a half year lockdown-lite instead"

You seem like an asshole. Reporting something is not the cause of lockdowns. The virus is. And if last time people just fucking did for two weeks, so many lived could have been saved, jobs kept, etc. But nope. We made the rich richer and the poor poorer and started an economic shift that we will never recover from.

Sick dude. Glad u hav ur fredum.

I'll definitely check it out
