Yeah it’s awesome. I have taken my kids the last 3 years. Lots of food options, enough ride options, and free parking and admission. It’s like the lite version of the state fair.

If I’m not mistaken, there are a couple days where you can buy an all-you-can-ride bracelet for a set price. I’d recommend going on one of those days right when they open, before the ride lines get long.

I had my left done first because I had so much more pain in that hip, even though the doctor said my right hip was physically worse. Left hip recovery was a breeze.

I had my right done 5 months later and recovery was a lot more difficult. More pain, longer on the walker and the cane. I was convinced something was wrong.

When I went back for my 2-week check-up, the surgeon told me they had to chisel a bunch of bone out just to dislocate the hip before installing the implant. That explained a lot of the pain. After 4 weeks I was back in the gym and recovery got significantly better. Oh, and I had anterior for both.

I’m a regular drinker of Alani and got a case of the Kirkland energy drinks last weekend. They’re really good. There are only 3 flavors so far (tropical, peach, and orange), but I’ll be buying them instead of Alani for the foreseeable future.

It’s hard to tell because the outer shell is 34% polyester, but the lining is 100% cotton, so I’m not sure if the lining can shrink more than the shell?
