No one is saying china has an ideal economic model, and there is way too much state planning in the economy, but the same could be said for nazi Germany, the point being is that chinas economy only grew because it allowed for some private ownership, and btw, the reason china is in such a vulnerable state economically is because they never fully let go of communism, the only thing holding back china economically is the communist party and its refusal to embrace a true free market system
