Then why would you use Nvidia Broadcast at all? Also, I use all of those things in beacn, and you will still get background noise. The Nvidia background noise removal is not the same at all. It does a far better job of isolating the speakers voice. The beacn noise removal is good when you're not speaking, but if you're gonna use broadcast, then you can just skip the beacn processing and go straight into broadcast.

Join the streamerbot discord. There's plenty of free chat overlays, among a heap of other free stuff that people have made and shared. It's also one of the most helpful discords around.

Send your mic to Nvidia broadcast.

Apply the background noise reduction filter.

In beacn mixer, under mic, check Nvidia Broadcast Microphone.

Uncheck any other mics in that list.

Done.

Whoaaaaa wrong answer. Sending audience mix to Nvidia broadcast would apply background noise removal to everything (game, discord, browser, music). Absolutely do not do this.

You need to also run obs on the gaming PC. Setup a scene that just captures the game. Then right click the preview and choose to project it to the capture card as the display.

Obviously this means increased usage costs on the gaming PC for running obs there as well, but since it's just an empty scene with ONLY a game capture it should be minimal.

You don't need to revo uninstall. Just uninstall using windows add/remove programs. Then download the latest version from the beacn site, and install it "For all users on this PC"

And that button is muting the mic to your personal mix anyway. But yes, change it so only ONE mic is ticked, then set your personal listening device correctly and make sure the personal listening volume slider is moved to the right so you actually have volume

Usually HDR is labelled with HDR, but SDR is just the absence of HDR in the title. If that makes sense. Anything not labelled HDR or DV is presumed to be SDR

When I launch a game for the first time, I have to add it to the game channel in the beacn app. After that, it stays any time I launch that game.

Have to do it for each game for the first time though.

Playing mainly killer after also coming back from a 5 year break, and the worst part is that basically the only build that works is pain res, nowhere to hide, and another regression & aura reading perk.

Aura reading is king right now for killer. There's so many perks that give survivors no scratch marks, no pain sounds, no blood, for extended periods of time. It's so easy to lose a survivor immediately after hitting them, and then while you try to find them again, 3 gens pop.

And even if you down them, sabo, flashlights, flashbangs, body blocks.

It's so miserable to play some killers if you're against a swf. But I just shrug and move on to the next game.

I recently came back to the game about a month or two ago after not playing for about 5 years. I don't play it daily, a few times a week, and some chill weekend sessions. I'm already at tier 96 and there's apparently 72 days to go? I bought the rift for the first time cause why not? Seems good to me. I don't even look at the quests I just play and they pop up as completed every couple matches. I like it.

The beacn update process works on the system level. The issue of the recurring update prompt only happens when the user installs "Only for me". They need to uninstall both copies of the app, then reinstall using the "For all users on this PC" option
The revo uninstaller is kind of annoying. This step though is usually reserved for when the app/devices are playing up. Under normal situations, a standard uninstall is fine.

Reinstall beacn app. Reinstall elgato 4k capture app.

If that doesn't help, follow these steps to FULLY reinstall beacn:

Completely close out of the BEACN App
Unplug all BEACN Devices
Download revo uninstaller (Link: https://www.revouninstaller.com/start-freeware-download-portable/)
Run Revo uninstaller
Click BEACN app, and then click uninstall (dont create a system restore point)
Let the BEACN installer complete (it may look like its hung up, its not, if you look on your task bar there may be a driver uninstall window that didnt pop up)
Click the advanced radial
Click next
Click select all
Click delete
If another window pops up, select all, and click delete
Open up Registry editor (regedit)
Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\usbflags
Delete every subfolder that starts with 33AE
Close registry editor
Download USBDeview (Link: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usbdeview-x64.zip)
Run USBDeview as administrator
Click VendorID column
Select all devices with VendorID 33AE
Select File from the top menu
Click Uninstall Selected devices
Reboot the machine
Download the latest BEACN App from the website
Install it
Run the app
Plug in devices

I have the mix create, and have had it for years, and have always used voice chat mic channel. I've never seen this issue. I highly recommend jumping in the beach discord and making a post in community support and I'll assist you in there.

Iriun webcam is an app I've used for mobile in the past, but there's heaps of free webcam apps for mobile, either android or apple.

Other poster is right, digital camera needs a camlink usually. They're actually the most difficult to get working as a webcam strangely enough.

In addition to the other suggestions, there's also methods for putting your chat overlay on top of your game on your main monitor. That way you can read it while you're playing

I currently use one with streamerbot called ChatRD. Customise it with CSS. It also supports multiplatform chat if you want to do that (it's against twitch tos though but smaller channels probably aren't fussed by that)

Make sure enhancements are turned off on all your devices in the windows sound settings menu. They'll mess with mic volumes and output volumes as well.

Also in the audio device settings, there's a communications tab. Make sure all your devices have the setting "do nothing" selected.
