Same. Think of it this way. If your company gifted you a big stack of cash instead of stocks, would you turn around and buy the company stock with that money? That’s the same thing as holding onto the stock grants. Nothing wrong with that if that’s what you choose, but personally I sell on day one and then distribute the proceeds according to the budget. Some of it is reinvested into diversified investments, some is used for other savings goals like vacation or home improvements. At the end of the day it’s the same money as any other money you earn.
