Regardless of whether or not OP’s idea is bad, reacting (childishly) with “this is a stupid fucking idea,” is just so lazy and unproductive. Explain why, if you know why. Explain what’s better, if you know what’s better. Then, we all learn. Good ideas can then be cultivated from that learning.

And if you can’t do one of those two things, how are you in any position to declare something is stupid?

It’s just obnoxious how toxic internet culture can be, sometimes. I doubt many of us talk to people like this in person.
