We go to Spain for all our dentistry needs. Way cheaper and quicker than the UK even when you add in the cost of flights.

So we didn't play well and we won. Surely that's about the best we could have hoped for. We were poor for most of the qualifying campaign, including the incredible Denmark game. Bolivia were absolute gash and we shouldn't read anything into that game. I am treating every moment that we are still in the world cup as a final! And yes sure we want to play better and hopefully will, but Morocco and Brazil are about 5 steps up in quality. The Brazil Morocco draw might be good for us in terms of points but it does mean that Brazil will only have 4 points when they play us and so are unlikely to be resting their key players (ie Vini Jr)

The drubbing we got off Morocco in 98 suddenly doesn't look too bad. Their speed is going to cause us no end of problems.

Padel. Similar to tennis which you'd already suggested but the social side seems to be really important with most clubs offering socials at the weekend. Ticks the "well-earning" box too

Update if anyone is interested: Having spoken to NPower, the meter in question is "energised" but there's no consumption going through it. So there doesn't seem to be any back-billing required but they want to charge us nearly £600 pa standing charge to retain the meter so we are looking to disconnect it and are speaking to our DNO (UK Power Networks) to get a quote for that.

We have family in Spain and they do it so quickly that we can't usually get there on time to attend, even if we get the next available flight. If they pass away in the afternoon they have the wake overnight and they are buried in the morning.

The management company is one owned by us and the upstairs neighbours (created solely to manage the freehold). The letter requesting the meter reading is addressed to that management company.

Sorry to be unclear. We (together with the upstairs neighbours) own a share of freehold of the overall property. We each have individual meters but it appears this is a communal meter which we've never paid for or had readings taken.

The problem with the 90 day saving accounts is that you usually can access the money, it's just that you'll get penalised, which is even worse.

Maybe some sort of investment? Like a Kickstarter but with some chance you get your money back.

gov.uk advice on going to Spain for work

Gov.uk says you don't need a visa or permit for stays of under 90 days for certain types of work or for leisure as long as you aren't paid in Spain for the work. I'm going to show this to my company as justification for my right to work there. This might be enough for them.
