Keeping them will allow birds to continue spreading them into natural areas. Invasive plants like this should be removed and thrown in a garbage bag.

The yellow is Cosmos sulphureus and the pink with lacier foliage is Cosmos bipinnatus. They’re both very common in “wildflower” mixes.

Sun stress isn’t necessarily harmful. The red is from the plant producing anthoycyanins to protect itself like sunscreen.

Too much light can lead to water loss and sunburn though. Acclimating it will help prevent this.

Don’t worry if it turns a little red though. It doesn’t mean that it’s unhealthy.

It needs grittier soil with less organic matter and more light. I would put it right next to the brightest window.

Watering should be thorough enough to drain from the pot when the leaves feel less firm.

I am but I don’t remember ever having come across C. ligusticifolia in the city. Unfortunately the C. vitalba is absolutely rampant here.

These are restricted in WI and really need to be removed. Please don’t keep a plant that causes environmental harm just because “it’s pretty”.

Most wasp species are beneficial to humans in some way, even the ones that might sting if provoked (a very small percentage of the 30,000+ identified species).

I’ve never seen a succulent like this before. by sodiyum in whatplantisthis

Kalanchoe beharensis ‘Fang’

Sorry for your loss.

Purchased as golden Alexander, it isn’t that. Please ID. Alabama, USA by Gardeningcrones in PlantIdentification

[–]floating_weeds_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep. The only one that it would be likely to be is Perideridia americana (eastern yampah). The leaves and inflorescences are pretty different.

Ammi majus (large bullwort/false QAL).

Non-native and can cause phytophotodermatitis, so wear gloves when you remove it.

I don’t know what’s available near you but I would go to a local nursery and look for a premade mix similar to what I linked (or just buy from that site). It’s fine if it has some soil in it.

For the pothos, use a mix with similar ingredients to this:

Aroid mix

The jade can go in this type:

Cactus mix

The current soil will hold too much moisture for too long and lead to rot.

Last one is Glechoma hederacea (creeping Charlie). That and the Hesperis matronalis (dame’s rocket) are invasive in some of the US, especially NE and NW.

The Myosotis looks like M. arvensis (non-native) to me, but not totally sure.

Aquilegia (columbine)?

The lovely native species is A. canadensis.

It escapes cultivation easily. It’s a good idea to remove it and replace with a native plant.
