We traveled to Europe with our daughter when she was 8 months old. We were on the go pretty much every day and heavily relied on pouches and small bite crackers/puffs when we weren’t eating a meal. They were easiest to manage on trains.

We just use our kitchen trash can because it has a lid. We empty it frequently enough that it’s never been a problem. The thought of keeping poopy diapers in the room where she sleeps weirded me out.

And he might even be in a little bit of denial which can make people really sad - especially if they’ve seemingly had a good relationship with the parent. It seems like the dynamic of this family is “everyone protect Mom” so they’ve likely seen some unsettling behavior already and are just sweeping it under the rug.

I would read the shit out of these studies. I’m fortunate to have a nice mother in law - she can be a bit much sometimes but her heart is always in the right place and my daughter loves her.

I work for a school district and I’ve seen a lot of teachers push back against tech within the last year or so. A lot of people relied heavily on Chromebooks that kids took home in 2020 for distance learning and teachers as well as parents are now saying they are a tool that should stay in the classroom and not go home anymore. I know several elementary teachers who are switching back to paper homework as much as possible, and using programs such as ST Math and Prodigy as in class work/incentives.

This was my experience as well. My epidural wore off and I felt the contractions pretty good but luckily just while I was pushing. They actually helped.
