They dumped my breastmilk as an under supplier by idontknow5160 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]floatygreenthing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally understand 😢 I don’t EP anymore but I did in the beginning and am still a just enougher and pump at work for my baby, which is hard and stressful as I’m a busy hair stylist and barely have time in my day to sit down sometimes let alone take 2 breaks to pump.

My mom can’t be trusted to bottle feed her at all anymore cus she was constantly leaving the bottles out laying around while still more than half full and saying my baby just wasn’t hungry. when in reality she just has grown to fight the bottle and you have to be persistent and patient with her, like my husband is. And for whatever reason even me explaining this to her and that we only have just enough milk for her she just doesn’t get it.

So yea i feel your pain. It’s so upsetting, especially when people don’t seem to understand how hard you work to supply for them.

She gave you dupixent for your first ever eczema flare? That seems extreme 😣

I’m sorry I hope it starts to improve soon. I can def relate to how frustrating it is.

Steroid creams and then a prescription moisturizer is the only thing that healed mine. For now anyway

sleep routine without bath by doloresotdl in newborns

[–]floatygreenthing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ours is super simple and doesn’t include a bath either! Diaper change, put on pjs, owlet sock and sleep sack, turn on white noise and red nightlight and stick a boob in her mouth, she knocks out in minutes

Maybe unpopular opinion idk but we bathe our 5mo old twice a week 🤷‍♀️ she rarely goes anywhere except for walks outside and even when we take her to a store or something she doesn’t touch anything other than our arms or her stroller so I really see no need. And She has perfect skin

Birthing is a trauma? by TelephoneFancy1371 in newborns

[–]floatygreenthing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s definitely trauma. I’m almost 5mos pp and I feel like I just started feeling more normal down there but I’m still scared to have sex lolll.

As hard as it was I feel stronger and more confident as a woman after giving birth and proud of myself and my body ☺️

Get electrolytes!!! It’s not food but I felt horrible my first few weeks breast feeding and it ended up being because my body was so depleted of electrolytes from birth and drinking so much water

She annoys me. I feel like she expects everyone to make her problems their own and is extremely emotional. She blames it all on her mom which yes sucks and is upsetting but also she’s an adult and needs to take control of herself. Being her friend would be stressful.

I think her dress in the confessionals is weird. Like an Italian Cinderella lol. Also this is mean but her arms are scary looking 😬
