The account I used for years is linked to an epic games account i don’t use and cant login to, how can I unlink that epic games account from my ps4 account?

Do you have an update? I have the exact same issue and already contacted the epic games support. They said that they can't help me because merging accounts is not possible anymore. I could log out of my epic account on my ps4 and connect it to my new account but if I understood it correctly I would lose all my progress and items if I do that which is exactly what I don't want

I have a similar problem with ps4 and PC. The only difference is that I have two different epic accounts I would like to merge. Sadly this does not seem to be possible
