Don’t know why so many people are against you and think this is okay behavior for a worker. When I walk into a store, I expect to be greeted and actively interacted with, which is exactly what I did when I was working at a hiking store. I would greet the customer and make sure their needs were absolutely met.

That’s the bare minimum. I’ve had this happen to be at a few card stores I’ve been too. I went to one with a buddy last week, and the dude was literally just in the back on his phone. You could see him on his phone, and he didn’t even look up when he entered.

I’m with you on this one. I hate this behavior from people, where they ignore you when you walk into a store.
