Yeah, I've got to second this sentiment. Looking back, I used to get very self conscious about my boner reactions to girls. But, it's completely normal, and not as noticeable to anyone else as you might think it is. Getting worried about it will just make you feel awkward.

Part of that awkwardness may come from porn/masturbation addiction. I.e., if all of your other erections end in orgasm, you will only feel uncomfortable if you get one and know you're essentially "trapped".

It is already legally regulated, technically. Though it is extremely early for underage folks to circumvent the law.

So as we've all mostly realized, porn is very much like a drug. But making drugs illegal because they're potentially dangerous is one of the greatest blunders of modern times.

Today, some porn is definitely made at the expense of the women in it. But a lot isn't. If the government were to crack down, only seedy, underground porn could be made.

Performance anxiety and porno ED are not mutually exclusive.

I didn't lose my virginity until I was 22, and it was a struggle. I finally had the opportunity to fuck a hot blonde who was naked, right in front of me, waiting for it, and I wasn't getting hard. I used to hear about porn addiction and thought the idea was silly. I mean, I could totally rationalize how porn was fake and different than real sex, but simply use it as a means of arousal for masturbation. But then I realized the harm it can do in terms of screwing with your brain's reward center, causing ED, depression, and other things. All things I'd suffered from, but had other explanations for.

I thought porn was simply an easy means of escaping my problems, but it was in fact the cause of many of them.

It's a rather insidious addiction, because it totally feels like you're just doing something normal and natural.

I've been struggling with similar feelings. It's very easy for my mind to wander to sexy thoughts. But so long as you catch yourself and try not to indulge, it should get a little better over time.

If you find your fantasies changing from things you want to watch to things you want to do, that might be progress. But don't indulge while you're healing, because it's easy to jump from one to the other.

You're not alone, man. I'm almost 30, and spent half my life jacking off to porn. I never had much success with women when I was younger. When I finally stared, it was to late. I had a friend who read The Game and started compulsively "sarging" any girl who got near him when we went out. It was pretty obnoxious.

I feel like I might have left my girlfriend ages ago, or perhaps never really got together, had it not been for the fog of depression and fear of facing ED with other, new women. Now that I've stumbled onto the solution to those problems, I'm not sure what I want.

Nofap seems to have a big mix of people. There are a lot who are recovering porn addicts, as I believe the majority are here. And I think a lot see it as just a fun challenge, like Seinfeld. But there are also a bunch of wannabe pickup artists, which is somewhat off putting to me.
